Lack of communication regarding the pool.
Pros:

The king size bed and the location.

Cons:

The pool wasn't open and hasn't been for a month or so..was never notified that it was closed i booked this hotel for the pool..
Also the bathroom ceiling was cracked with water damage and the plaster was falling in the shower.. Breakfast was cold and staff was not friendly/pleasant..

Expectations surpassed!

I will never stay here again, props to Holiday Inn Express for their yummy breakfast though.
Pros:

I enjoyed the breakfast, there are lots of options and it was tasty.

Cons:

There was no hot water from the sink, the heater only blows hot air for a few minutes then goes back to cold air regardless of the set temperature on the thermostat, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. During a snowstorm the only thing I wanted was to relax in the pool and enjoy my stay while snowed in. Instead I got harassed by staff, and embarrassment when I went to the pool in my bathing suit just to be told the pool was closed, there was no warning before booking and there is NOTHING that says the pool is broken on their website or on booking.com

Comfortable room but a booking nightmare.
Pros:

I like that it’s easy to get to on and off of the highway. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

I didn’t like that though breakfast choices were plentiful, my eggs and waffle were not warm. I did not like the woman at RVs front desk demanding payment when I showed her that I paid on your site on 12/27 and the money was withdrawn from my account.
