Cigarette smoke circulation (in our non-smoking room) through centralized air conditioning systems.
The staff were very nice. The hotel is central but not a very busy street. The room was big.
The bathroom door was dirty. There was half a cigarette on the floor. After the 1st night some insects invaded the bathroom. I asked to clean it and it was not done. The bathroom is old. Even the sheets are old.

Breakfast at best was passable.
YES. COULD BE much better.
Upon my arrival I had to request to change the bed linens. They were not cleaned and obviously not changed after previous occupants departure. The restaurant service was less than unacceptable. Seven persons in the kitchen, numerous servants and no guests in the dining room, still took 45 to serve one small cup of soup and half burned bread.

The place is old and not maintained. It is the same as shown in photos. They say the place has city views. It is not true. I have booked suite and next to that is a iron staircase and staff goes on it till 11:30 at night and makes a loud noise like as if lot of steel pots falling from 1st floor at once. Very difficult to sleep. Also water doesn’t drain from the bathroom and bathroom gets flooded while taking shower. The staff says they can’t do anything about it. It is not worth the price.
