A busy short break in Budapest.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast had a good range of food available and the dining area was not cramped. The location is very good for access to the various forms of public transit - a bus stop is a minute or 2 away, tram stop and the underground are about 3 minutes from the hotel. There is a small Lidl store near the bus stop and a Spar in the nearby shopping centre. There are plenty of choices for either take out or dining in around the area.

Cons:

We found the beds a little too hard. Also, the area around the hotel, although seems pretty safe, does appear a bit scruffy.

Pros:

The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff we encountered were helpful and efficient.

Cons:

I needed to contact reception during the night because it sounded like someone was trying to get into my room (perhaps they mistook my room for their own) I was very scared and having someone at the end of the phone in a large hotel would have been reassuring.

Would not hesitate to stop again in this hotel.
Pros:

Good beds, ample room in the shower, and a good choice at breakfast time. The hotel also arranged a taxi for us to take us back to the airport.

Between train connections.
Pros:

Near the train station.

Cons:

I've stayed in Ibis hotels before, and this one seemed the most unsanitary.

Hairs scattered in the shower, the sink and even on one of the towels.

A little bit overpriced
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location with excellent public transportation connections, making it very convenient for getting around the city, and the breakfast was truly excellent with a very satisfying variety and quality of options.

Cons:

The room itself lacked several basic conveniences that would have made the stay more comfortable. The carpet in the room did not give us a very clean or hygienic feeling, there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom which made it difficult to style or dry hair after showering, and the absence of a mini fridge or proper places to hang towels after use was inconvenient. Overall, many small but important details were missing, and considering the price for just one night, we felt the hotel was overpriced for what it offered.
