A pleasant return, with some room for improvement
Pros:

As a returning guest who also stayed here last year, it was nice to come back and experience the hotel again after the renovation. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade with a spectacular view. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of space to relax. The location remains one of the hotel’s biggest strengths — close to everything and very convenient. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the stay feel welcoming.
A special mention and kudos to the gentleman attending the elevators. We had the feeling he might have recognised us from our previous stay — he didn’t say anything, but sometimes a look says more than words. His warm and familiar manner really stood out, and it was a small but meaningful moment that made our return feel special. We appreciated his kindness and made sure to show our gratitude before leaving.

Cons:

Compared to our stay last year, we felt there were some areas that could use more attention. The towels felt quite worn, and both the towels and bed linen could benefit from a more thorough wash with proper detergent, as they did not feel as fresh as expected. The room cleaning also seemed to lack some attention to detail. Another downside was the soundproofing, especially from traffic noise outside, which could be quite noticeable.
Overall, we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the spacious room, beautiful view, great location, and wonderful staff. With improved housekeeping standards and more attention to maintenance, Centre Point Plus could deliver the same level of experience we enjoyed during our previous stay.

Een fantastisch hotel om Bangkok te ontdekken

Centre Point Silom is echt een fantastisch hotel om een reis in Thailand mee te beginnen in Bangkok. We hadden de familie suite, een enorm appartement met twee slaapkamers, een kleedkamer en een zeer ruime badkamer. In het keukentje een wasmachine waar je wasmiddel bij krijgt. De locatie is geweldig, aan een hele leuke straat met veel bedrijvigheid. Onder het hotel zit een kleine mall, tuktuks voor de deur en veel restaurantjes dichtbij om lekker te kunnen eten. De skytrain en de Sathorn pier om de hoek. Het zwembad was heel fijn, niet zoveel bedjes maar voor ons was er elke keer genoeg plek. Met mooi uitzicht op de hoge gebouwen van Bangkok. Al met al een heel fijn hotel!

Het ontbijt was voldoende, niet heel veel keuze maar genoeg om goed te kunnen ontbijten

Location!!!
Pros:

Great location! Hotel is right on top of the Central Store and shopping center where it also has a grocery store and you don't have to leave the building. The hotel is also right near the Sathorn Pier where you can take a free ferry that runs later in the afternoon to the Asiatique waterfront. I also chose this hotel because the room that I had with Balcony had a mini kitchenette as well as a washer/dryer combo unit so we could do laundry in the room. It worked perfectly and it was one of the main reasons, plus the location of why I chose this hotel!

Cons:

Its was a little hard to hear the receptionist who checked me in but it wasn't a big deal.
