I visited Dubai international Hotel , I was impressed with great service given to me by the Waiter by the name of Baby also all staff is very nice frndly helpful…
Rooms, food, gym, everything is awesome.food is very delicious, good quality…
Rooms very big, clean, provided all amenities in room.
Thanks hotel staff to give us good services take care of us. This trip is very memorable we will visit again here.😊😊😊😊😊
The location, staff and cleanliness were excellent, I would have appreciated a bar / coffee shop in the hotel. I appreciate there are plenty of F&B outlets in the airport, but I expected something from the hotel for a peaceful spot.
This generic hotel allows me to save lots of time and use transit hours as an opportunity to get other places. So, flying through Dubai I often get tickets with 1-2 days transit, bring my small carry-on with me, stay at the airport and visit some tourist attraction in different areas of the UAE:
- Marina/Jumeirah
- Burj Khalifa area Downtown
- Bab AL Shams Resort
- Conservation Reserve
- Sharjah area
- Umm AL Quwain Beach
- Abu-Dhabi Ferrari
- Emirates 7 stars Palace etc.
After landing I recommend to proceed to this hotel reception straight away from your gate. Depending on how tired you are, consider sleeping for a few hours, or have a shower and go for excursion. I book long excursions, 4-5 or sometimes even 8 hours. So, I really need just to quickly return to the hotel without “luxury hospitality experience” that I do not need much in transit.
Great location, if you visit opposite areas like Abu-Dhabi and Sharjah, this hotel is just in the middle. Any time of the day you can return to DXB by different transportation, plenty of options. As you do not have any luggage with you, it is easy to pass the airport security, just show them your next ticket/boarding pass.
I am buying not only food and drinks in Duty Free, but also essentials like travel size cosmetics, t-shirts, sandals etc. that I do not need to carry from home.
Emirates Airline provides the hotel for free for the first 24 hours in transit, I used that option and found it inconvenient: the hotel is usually rather old, crowded with tourists, queues at the reception, room might not be ready (!) not easy to find transportation to visit other places.
I prefer Dubai International Hotel as it operates with a speed of airport: check-in is very quick, check-out is automatic. Rooms are spacious and clean. Shower is very good, you ‘ll get slippers, bathrobe, good amenities. It is quiet comparing to the hotels in the city as people only sleep here and do not party. Depending on the time when you decide to sleep (may be some odd hours) you’ll hear housekeeping in the other rooms, but it is inevitable, tho.
The hotel is connected to a kind of Spa area, where you can swim in the pool (if you feel like your back needs it after a long flight) or get a massage. Overall, it was average, but the Spa experience was not the reason why I stayed at this hotel.
The only thing that I did not like was the large window in the room overlooking other gates from the 2nd floor where the hotel is located, curtains do not give you 100% darkness to fall asleep. If such specific is not a problem for you, the rest if just fine.
I HAVE USED THIS HOTEL A NUMBER OF TIMES NOW THE CONVENIENCE OF THE LOCATION IS A BIG DRAW CARD FOR ME TO HELP BREAK UP THE FLIGHT. THE ROOM IS ALWAYS VERY CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPPED STAFF ARE ALWAYS VERY HELPFULL. FOOD IS EXCELLENT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR A RESTFUL STOPOVER
Can not tell you since was not able to stay. First there was no information that you must stay airside to use this hotel, second someone took my suitcase by mistake meaning I had to pass immigration to go landside to retrieve my luggage. It was not then allowed to go back airside as had no boarding pass for a flight, arriving boarding pass does not get you back to airside. The time was then 2am so had to find another hotel at extra expense.
This is a transit hotel!
That fact is currently listed as point number 7 out of ten in “Things you need to know about this hotel”. I didn’t read that far before booking. Wasn’t able to check in. No assistance or support was provided by Expedia or hotel staff.
Fantastic option for me when breaking up my flight to the other side of the world. Really well maintained hotel at my fingertips on 6 level of Dubai airport
Travelling from Europe to Dubai before our long haul trip back to Australia, we found the Dubai International Hotel an absolutely joy. Unfortunately, I didn't realise we could have had a meet and greet booked, which would have taken a lot of stress out of finding the place in the middle of the night. However, once we found it the staff were very helpful and welcoming indeed.
As a family, we really appreciated the large room and large shower. There were so many thoughtful details which were appreciated. Everything you would need was provided such as toothbrushes, combs, water, tea and coffee.
The shower was hot and a dream after a long flight. The towels were very thick and fluffy and the pillows and bed very comfortable
The rooms were clean, quiet, warm and cosy. The cost is worth the convenience to enable you to have a sound sleep without the hassle of going through customs.
We would recommend this transit hotel to anyone, particularly those travelling as a family on long haul flights.
We stayed overnight waiting for our connection. Hotel was extremely easy to access and made allowed us easy access to the airport in the morning.
on our way back home from Tunis we had an overnight stopover, we decided to stay at the airport hotel, it was wonderful experience the staff at the reception ( from Mynammar!) was friendly helpful, showed me to my room, the room was so well equipped with all the amenities, and surprisingly inspite of being right on top of duty free shops it was so quiet and peaceful. had a wonderful sleep and was refreshed for my oward flight.
Very convenient at the airport
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Dubai International Hotel, and I was impressed with the hotel's convenient location and range of amenities.
The hotel's check-in process was seamless, thanks to the personalized meet and greet service. A representative from the hotel met me at the gate and escorted me to the hotel, making the process quick and easy.
The hotel's amenities were also impressive, with a fitness center, spa, and several dining options. I was able to get a good workout in at the fitness center, and the spa offered a range of treatments to help me relax.
We stayed here, arriving late at night, when we had an 8-hour layover. The meet & greet was excellent. Fast-track security made for a very smooth & quick transit. We didn't experience any meals on this occasion but our room was very comfortable, the hotel was quiet & reception staff were very helpful. On our return our Fly Dubai flight was delayed, missing our Emirates connection but we were met with new onward boarding passes for the following day & guided to the hotel where we had a complimentary overnight stay with all meals provided during our 24-hour stay. Food was very good with a great choice & Ahlan staff were excellent. Well done Emirates & Dubai International Hotel. Impressive service!
Very clean and convenient. Guests need to be aware that you have to check in your luggage and pass through security before you can access the hotel. This should be made clearer on the site.
This is truly well and above what you'd expect from an airport hotel. From the meet and greet service, to a seamless check in and excellent service, Hotel DXB does truly make it worth every dollar you spend with them. The room was large, with extremely comfortable beds and even included a massage chair which was an added bonus!
Excellent
Loved it
Staff was extremely helpful
Very convenient.
This five-star rated hotel offers standard hotel accommodation without leaving the airport and is an option if you find yourself in transit in Dubai International Airport without a visa, and there longer than you could face camping in an airport lounge.
You will like ease of access, complete freedom from the sound of the surrounding airport, easy checkout. Excellent staff.
Personally, for its high price tag, I think one should be able to expect more from the look and feel of the rooms given the top status of the airport itself. Maybe expect three-star room decor for a greater than five-star price and you will be satisfied.
The hotel WiFi requires you reconnect every two hours but seemed to drop more often than that. TV stations were not easy to navigate with a remote that couldn’t work as fast as you had to select options and the news stations were seemingly unavailable. Perhaps the remote needed a battery refresh and that can be the case anywhere.
Your alternative? If you want a cost-effective alternative and just need a quiet place to sleep and work, consider the ‘Sleep n’ Fly’ pod / capsule option at Terminal 3. It offers a capsule room for sleep and work, a public seating / working area, showers and wash rooms, on tap coffee/tea/soft drinks.
