В целом все прекрасно, кроме пары досадных недочетов.
Pros:

Расположение отеля прекрасное, рядом с дорогими торговыми центрами с одной стороны и колоритными уйгурскими кафе с другой, причем совсем недалеко, буквально в квартале от отеля. Номер большой, удобный, с прекрасным панорамным видом. Кстати видно Красную гору, так кажется она называется. Быстрый лифт. Тишина. Чистое белье и полотенца, ежедневная смена. Завтраки были хорошие, с китайской и уйгурской кухней. Понравился уголок с уйгурским соленым чаем с молоком и сладостями. Если нужна европейские блюда, то приготовляется на заказ очень быстро. Понравился Five o`clock tea - тихая уютная атмосфера с ненавязчивым сервисом. Приветливый отзывчивый персонал со знанием английского языка.

Cons:

Честно говоря сильно не хватало влажной уборки пола, удивительно, но в таком отеле пыльные полы - это я считаю недопустимо. Кондиционер с трудом справлялся с охлаждением гостиной. Не сказать, что была солнечная погода, но через панорамные окна номер сильно нагревается, а когда уходишь из номера кондиционер выключается, насколько я понял. Т.е. когда приходишь уставший с прогулки и хочется прохлады, тебя встречает очень нагретый номер, который очень медленно охлаждается. Может быть летом кондиционирование усиливается - не знаю.

Great facility and service, but a huge flaw with AC and room temp

Cons:

The room temperature was not adjustable to below 25-26c. Which was very hot and uncomfortable. We were provided a fan in the room and the window was kept open. However the temp in the room was still very uncomfortable during the day and at night.

If i am ever in Urumqi again, this will be the first place I check to see if there is vacancy
Pros:

Good Central location, expensive for Urumqi but in global terms for a hotel of this quality cheap.
Nice big rooms with good bathroom facilities, beautiful views over city. Majority of staff in customer facing roles spoke moderate english. Early Check in and out was allowed at no extra cost.
Wide variety of western food options at buffet which was very welcome after 18 days in rural Xinjang

Cons:

Drinks could be colder in bar and restaurant but that is pretty standard in China.
Buffet dinner prices and what you got incuded for the price was hard to define with staff as an English speaker

Pros:

Everything was perfect stay in there, but in April as the government heating still on, the cooling system doesn’t work! It can be very hot during April without air conditioning.

Pros:

The room is spacious, quiet and upscale. Location is in the centre of the city, so it is super convenient. Staff were also very friendly. Will book it again next time when I visit Urumqi.
