Não me hospedei. Cancelei diante da precariedade do locale da inacessibilidade do meu filho. Carro não chega próximo.

Cons:

O banheiro é pequeno e o box muito, muito pequeno, desconfortável. Não dá para tomar banho direito... Nem todos os dias tinha shampoo e sabonete liquido (os quais eu os uso diariamente) disponíveis.

Hotel in un palazzo storico di via Chiaia (solo in parte adibito a Hotel). Le stanze che si affacciano su via Chiaia sono più belle e ampie, ma più rumorose, noi avevamo una stanza che si affaccia sul cortile interno, molto piccola, con arredi semplici, ma più silenziosa e per un breve soggiorno sufficiente. Staff gentile e disponibile a dare supporto e informazioni, colazione buona, ma in una stanza un poco piccola dove entrano solo pochi tavoli e si rischia di dover aspettare. Dolcetti e rustici offerti nel pomeriggio agli ospiti. Noi lo frequentiamo da anni e ci andiamo spesso, per il buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

It lived up to its name "Charme"
Pros:

Helpful, friendly staff, cleanliness and efficient room cleaning, efficient breakfast service, warmth (this was January), shower (easy to control, not often the case in hotels), quiet. The lounge area was nice. Gateaux available all day a nice touch.

Cons:

The room temperature was difficult to control; very hard-to-operate touch-screen operation. Having a kettle, not yet common in Italy, would have been nice. Breakfast area a bit congested. Not being on the grouind floor, might have been difficult for oldies if the single, rather old-looking lift became out of order.

Although relatively expensive for my normal budget, it was worth it for the specific needs I had.
Pros:

I chose the hotel because of its historical connections to an ancestor who loved there in the 1770s and I believe Mozart played for him there and see the interior confirmed my theory, based on contemporary paintings.
I had my mobile phone stolen and the staff at reception were very helpful in allowing me to use the computer to resolve the issue and print off my boarding pass.
It was aso very convenient for the San Carlo Theatre.
