La posizione rappresenta l'unico elemento positivo di questa struttura, trovandosi a pochi minuti a piedi dall'Empire State Building. Va menzionata, poi, anche la disponibilità dello staff, che tuttavia non è stata sufficiente a sopperire alle gravi mancanze della struttura.

Cons:

Come già segnalato sia in loco alla struttura, sia telefonicamente all'assistenza clienti di Booking, l'esperienza di soggiorno presso l'U Hotel è stata pessima, trattandosi di un hotel assolutamente non in linea nè con quanto descritto sulla pagina dedicata nel sito di Booking, nè con l'elevato prezzo pagato per il soggiorno (oltre $300 a notte). In particolare, al nostro arrivo abbiamo sin da subito riscontrato delle difficoltà nell'identificare l'ingresso dell'hotel, in quanto quella che avrebbe dovuto essere la hall si presentava come un locale fatiscente, sprovvisto di insegna, di un bancone per l'accettazione e finanche del pavimento. La scena imbarazzante che ci siamo trovati di fronte è stata minimizzata dallo staff come dei meri "lavori in corso" per migliorare le condizioni dell'hotel che, stando a quanto riferito, a breve avrà una nuova veste sotto un diverso nome (non più "U Hotel"). Oltre a quanto già descritto, si segnala anche la totale mancanza delle più basilari misure di sicurezza per quanto riguarda la gestione della hall di ingresso, nella quale erano presenti cavi a vista, pezzi di pavimentazione irregolare (coperta in maniera grossolana con dei tappeti), calcinacci e altri elementi usuali durante lo svolgimento di una ristrutturazione, ma certamente non adatti alla hall di un hotel.

Excelente ubicación
Pros:

La ubicación, nos daban snacks de bienvenida y toda el agua embotellada que quisiéramos. El personal hablaba varios idiomas y la recepcionista Ray nos atendió como unos reyes. Repetiría

I would stay there again and request a room not facing the street!

It was a great location. It was exceptionally clean. Very comfortable. Very small but all you need for 1 person.

Cons:

Street noise was very loud BUT I was facing the street and got used to it by the 2nd night.
