Bar service for drink is awful
Pros:

Check in was smoothy

Cons:

Waiting over 20mins for drinks . Staff at the bar was extremely slow on getting the drinks out . And then the drinks was left on the bar for a period of time . Good job that I didn't order hot drinks or they would have been cold .
The noice of the radiator was going all through the night .

Great location, lovely spa and treatments. Friendly team and good dinners.
Pros:

Great staff, fab spa, lots of parking, good food. Comfy bed and lovely views.

Cons:

Room was small despite being one of the better ones.
No drawers and nowhere to put suitcases or unpack. Tray with kettle etc had to be kept in the wardrobe so unusable. Compact room spoiled what was otherwise a good stay as felt it was not good value for money and was really too small for our 3 night stay.

Exceptional!
Pros:

An absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and the service was impeccable! I’d booked this beautiful hotel as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. Claire (receptionist) was amazing, she’d gone out of her way to decorate the hotel room for me prior to our arrival to make our stay that extra special! In fact every single member of staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone made us feel truly valued. We couldn’t have chosen a lovelier place for a birthday weekend retreat. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the views from our gorgeous room (521) were breathtaking!

Beautiful, friendly and comfortable stay.
Pros:

The setting was incredible. A fabulous stay, comfy rooms, and the staff couldn’t do more. They were all so friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

It would have been nice to use the facilities in the spa as a hotel guest. We paid to use them on our final day after check out.
