So appealing, we hope to return.
Pros:

We enjoyed the beautiful breakfast in the garden and wonderful,helpful staff. The pool was very welcome and the spacious rooms well appointed. The old colonial charm has been well maintained .

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

Nice Victorian style accommodation, great location
Pros:

* Great location - even through it's along a busy road (we were on the corner), room is quite quiet.
* Walking distance from Imperial City
* Nice walks along the river
* Spacious room

Would come back

Cons:

* Facilities quite dated - Intentional old Victorian style, but bathrooms really needs to be redone
* Shower hose had a massive leak that must have been there a long time
* Breakfast was quite average

Bâtiment très joli, petit déjeuner incroyable.

Cons:

Arrivée avant 14h le personnel n'a même pas pris la peine de vérifier si la chambre était prête, et nous a demandé d'attendre
Manque d'entretien Une connexion électrique béante dans la salle de bain, juste à côté de l'interrupteur ideal pour une electrocution.
Réception TV digne des années 80 avec de la neige sur toutes les chaînes

The position is fantastic across from the perfume river breakfast was excellent and in a sublime garden setting
A special treat was the floor rug change in the glass elevators that were changed three times a day from good morning to good afternoon then to good evening !

Het hotel ligt heel centraal. Je kan makkelijk te voet naar de Keizerlijke stad en tegelijk ben je vlakbij de leuke uitgangsbuurt met leuke winkeltjes, restaurants en bars. Vriendelijke en erg behulpzame staff.

Cons:

We hadden de eerste nacht vrij veel geluid van het verkeer (in Vietnam wordt er zeer veel getoeterd). De tweede nacht kregen we een mooie kamer toegewezen aan de achterzijde. Daar was het veel rustiger.
In de kamer van onze kinderen stond er schimmel op het plafond. Ook zij kregen een andere kamer.

A quality step back in time
Pros:

Charming & very classy hotel from a bygone age.
Beautiful garden dining area & bar, pool & poolside bar, fine dining restaurant all set in a solid quality traditional building.
Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection. Rooms are comfortable with beautiful dark wood floors & we had a view of the Perfume River. The bathroom was simple and had everything we needed.
The hotel is not glitzy top luxury (go to one of the new high rises for that) but provides an old fashioned high standard at excellent value for money. It will be remembered as a top favourite.
A special mention to Nguyen Van Phuc for his friendly, happy good nature.

A luxury stay where the staff can not do more to make your stay perfect.
Pros:

Pure luxury. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and the staff were all exceptional. The courtyard is divine and the breakfast had amazing choice. The pool is quiet and well equipped with great bar service. Our room was huge and beautiful.
