Excellent service, breakfast and swimming pool

Characterful but a bit tired
Pros:

Amazing old building with lots of character. Some areas such as the gym and pool area felt like they needed renovating. Very helpful staff.

Un coin de paradis à Huê
Pros:

Grande chambre spacieuse. Emplacement parfait pour la Cité impériale. Piscine très agréable. Atmosphère “coloniale”. Superbe buffet petit déjeuner dans le jardin.

Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.
Pros:

Excellent Colonial style hotel well located, spacious and oozing history. The staff were amazing and fantastic with help in organising to see points of interest. Great pool, excellent massage, big spacious size rooms

Superb hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

Simply excellent. A wonderful heritage gem in a fantastic location. Loads of space provided a sense of airiness and calm in the centre of the town. The rendezvous bar, courtyard and pool area in particular provided a peaceful oasis during our stay.

The staff were incredibly attentive, helpful and knowledgeable throughout.

Cons:

There was really nothing that we'd improve.

Pros:

We we're upgraded and the room was very large.
The a/c worked very well which was important as it was 37c every day.
The staff are friendly.

Cons:

While the service at breakfast was good it wasn't matched during the evening. We had to get the staffs attention constantly as they chatted near the bar instead of paying attention. When they did bring the drinks they neglected to take the empties. Also insisted on pouring the beer which they were very bad at.
No big deal, but it was annoying. I've had better service at cheap bars and restaurants.

No fault of rhe hotel, but there is no real central bar/restaurant are in Hue. None that i could find anyway.
