Return to the stunning suite in this landmark hotel steeped in history
Pros:

We returned to the massive suite 211 after staying in it back in 2018. It's truly a spectacle of a room - needs to be seen to be believed. Great balcony view on 2 different sides of the building, and over a busy junction at the bridge over to the Citadel. Easy access to the citadel area as it's close by. Friendly and accommodating staff, and the best breakfast in Vietnam.
If you can fund it, don't hesitate to book an Executive Suite and ask for 211, or if you really want a treat ask for 111 which is the room Charlie Chaplin stayed during his honeymoon. Avoid 311, it has no balconies. 311 will be quieter, 111 noisier - traffic outside is quite a sight and can be noisy.

Cons:

Bit of confusion about the room on checkin - we were allocated 311 which had no balcony, but balcony was a key reason for going back - sitting on it in the evening and soaking up the atmos is a real treat after a busy day out and about.

A fascinating old hotel, worth a stay at least once.
Pros:

The Saigon Morin was first built in 1901. This is the reason you should stay there, but also is responsible for some understandable issues. The location is impeccable - it might not be possible to stay in a more central location in Hue. The building is beautiful and spacious, and a peek into a bygone era. Lots of natural light stream in from the windows, and there's a fine courtyard with a varied and tasty breakfast. The AC unit in our room worked quite well, the room was clean and the Wifi adequate. Spend a few minutes wandering the long halls and looking at the historic photographs - all very pleasant.

Cons:

This hotel is old - no getting around it. Our street-facing room had street-facing noise, and the glass doors to the balcony were grimy. There is a distinct lack of electrical outlets in the room and they are often inconveniently located. Our first room had no hot water from the shower, but the hotel quickly moved us to a better room with no issues. The carpet, paint and fixtures all could use a refresh. Time has taken a toll on the old building, but I still enjoyed our stay.

Pros:

Mooi koloniaal hotel op een hele goede locatie.Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Fijn zwembad om af te koelen. Al met al een heerlijk hotel.

Cons:

Het ontbijt, de locatie, de grote kamer, het zwembad. Kortom alles.

Pros:

Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme, très belle demeure.
Très grande chambre, à l'ancienne.
Bon petit déjeuner et dans un jardin super sympa.
Personnel très agréable !
Emplacement parfait !

Cons:

Fenêtre chambre ne fermait pas (donc pas d'isolation pour le bruit de la rue ainsi qu'au niveau thermique).
Salle de bain vieillotte.
Au moins une lampe de plus dans la chambre serait apprécié.

Tolles Kolonialhotel mit Charme.
Pros:

Ein schönes altes Hotel. Mein Zimmer hatte die Größe eines Tanzsaals. Von meinem Balkon hatte ich einen tollen Blick. Am schönsten aber war der liebevoll gestaltete Innenhof mit alten Bäumen und schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten darunter. Hier wurde auch das Frühstück serviert. Das war wirklich gut.

Cons:

Einzig hat mir nicht gefallen, daß es auf dem Balkon keine Bestuhlung gab.

Très apprécié cet hôtel de belle architecture coloniale française.
Un site romantique , évocateur du passé et charmant en tous points.
Tres agréable vue sur le pont Clémenceau pour les chambres sit uées de son côté
Le quartier est vivant , riche en vestiges architecturaux du passé, et de bons restaurants
Le buffet est abondant et soigné. Servi de surcroit dans un tres beau jardin agrémenté d'une jolie fontaine
Excellent restaurant et personnel competent. souriant et sympathique

Beautiful well maintained classic hotel
Pros:

What a beautiful hotel & lovely staff in this day where every hotel feels the same this has retained it’s glorious era with lots of memorabilia to see it’s a reminder of grand old days of the hotel industry beautiful & relaxing courtyard for breakfast buffet which covered Asian & western tastes rooms were large & comfotable had one of the best sleeps & we had room facing traffic location is excellent on the river

V nice hotel. Breakfast outside in the courtyard is lovely. Could do with a bit of modernising.

とにかく素敵なホテルです。フエにまた来ることがあれば、ここに泊まりたいです。
Pros:

観光に便利です。歴史のあるホテルで、スタッフも親切ですし、ホスピタリティに溢れています
あいにくの雨でしたが、部屋に大きな傘が置かれていました
朝食も美味しく、ルームサービスにもベトナム料理のメニューがありました

Cons:

強いて言えば、シャワーが物足りない感じです。ベトナムのホテルはどこもこんな感じなのかもしれません
