Lovely stay in Saumur
Pros:

L really enjoyed the comfortable room and excellent View of the Chateau
Nuxe toiletries were lovely and felt a treat.

Good location and decor, issues with air con
Pros:

Hotel location was great, decor and cleanliness were good. Short distance from centre and easy walking.Excellent parking facility.

Cons:

We had issues with the air conditioning in room 335. Turned on the unit in the bedroom at approximately 11pm and at 11.30pm the control unit on the wall started making an alarm sounding noise approximately every 5 minutes.
Reported it to the night porter who was as helpful as he could be in the situation, he reset the air con for the adjoining living area.
The unit in the bedroom was switched off, it continued to emit the alarm noise for another 30 minutes before stopping, with no air con in the actual bedroom it became hot in the room.
On check out the following morning, reported the issue to reception, was told it hadn't done it previously, which was not a helpful response. They appeared not to care (or believe) that we'd experienced the issues we had.
This issue spoilt the stay in the hotel, and was very inconvenient as we had a long drive and had been kept awake.

Bon séjour mais la clim est a remplacer ( bruit)
Pros:

La vue sur la Loire et le château.
Le petit déjeuner complet. Possibilité de le prendre en terrasse le long de la Loire.
Proximité du centre ville

Cons:

Le bruit de la climatisation dans la chambre.

Pros:

Accuel chaleureux et professionnel
Disponibilité du personnel avec notamment un barman très au point et passionnant à écouter dans ses conseils
Belle chambre à la décoration simple et élégante
Très belle situation géographique avec splendide vue sur les différents monuments de la ville, emplacement très calme
Petit déjeuner correct

Cons:

Salle d'eau ridiculement petite , avec toilettes non séparées
Pas de saumon fumé au buffet du petit déjeuner, et viennoiseries assez quelconques ( compte-tenu du tarif c'est plutôt moyen)

zeer mooi verblijf in een meer dan degelijk hotel

locatie is top , hadden kamer aan de rivierzijde en zicht op het kasteel en de brug . ligging top, op loopafstand van het centrum . parkeren vlakbij hotel op privaatparking gratis . kamer en badkamer ruim en heel netjes , ijskast en koffie en thee op de kamer voorzien . het ontbijt bij mercure hotels is zeer uitgebreid en zeer lekker ,net zoals de verse koffie .
