Pacific Grove Inn

We didn’t get there until after 11 PM and no one was there to let us in. We had to call a number in another country in order to be able to get the code and everything to get into the room.

There were knobs off on the dresser and the top sheet was extremely work out & thread bare & needs be thrown away. We let the the Housekeeper know that. Definitely needs.

Not a problem if you don’t need to work from the room and enjoy no service when you check in. Last night had a tough check in. I called to self-check during the staffed hours in afternoon, want given the direct number to the staff, and got building code. However, the foreign call center rep didn’t ask for credit card for incidentals (room was pre-paid) and after hauling my three bags up 3 flights of stairs, had to to back down to call them again, then go back upstairs again with all my bags. I got to the inn by 10 pm and had to figure it where the room was, poor signage, and why the code wasn’t working out on my own. Then got up early (loud seagulls at 6 am) only to find out that coffee isn’t served until 8 am. No desk in room to set up my computer either. This is a bed n breakfast, not an inn. Recommend if you are older and have good knees, plan on just sleeping there and leaving early since check out is 10 am. Overall a frustrating, isolating experience that allows the owners to enjoy passive income.

Room was very clean and charming.

The room was nice and we were in a great location. The place was filled with men visiting for car week, but most of the time they weren’t revving their cars and being obnoxious. Other than that, the place was quiet and nice. Although the manager told me they had no ice bucket or glasses, when we arrived, we discovered there were both. It was convenient for us to get more coffee and ice.

Great location and easy parking with walkable options for dining. So much to do! The only negative was there was no fan or air conditioning, so the room was stuffy at night.

Parking slots in parking area are too small. They need to be a little bigger.

Absolutely amazing Inn. Beautiful antique touches, very comfy bed. Ian and Kirstin the Inn keepers were so charming and kind. They made our stay very special. Delish snacks and breakfast. Can't wait to come back again.

Victoria style We love. Small room we didn't care for the location was great.

The room was clean and had all the basics. The location was great because you could easily walk to restaurants and the ocean. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave available. However, the common room not somewhere you would like to sit because it was very small and not very appealing.

Overall, quite nice. Great location, very friendly staff, clean. We stayed in room 110 which was frankly a very small room, too small.he double paned windows werw not ver efficient, lors of excess noise filtered in from the street.

Price was good, beautiful historic style hotel. Would probably not stay here again since there aren't attendants onsite, and that isn't exactly made clear in the listing for the hotel. A bit freaky to stay at a hotel with other people where there's not a person of authority to go to in case of emergency or altercation (I worked in hospitality so I know this from experience. People can be interesting to say the least.). I get staying at an AirBnb where you're the only guest and the owners offsite, but a situation like this just didn't make me feel quite comfortable. No breakfast as well, just tea and coffee. Might be a good situation for some, but I would be much likelier to come back if there were onsite attendants.

Clean room. Walking distance to the shore

Clean and charming, but noisy bedroom above the street. It’s a beautiful Victorian home with single pane windows. Bring ear plugs snd eye shades if you’re staying in a room above a street. The building’s exterior lights stay on through the night and, despite window shades, the lights perk into the room.

The property was very convenient and very close to downtown Pafific Grove and Lover's Point. The 2 bedroom of the property was amazing and very clean. I would recommend this property to everybody. My wife loves the old victorian look atmosphere. We walked over 10,000 steps everyday. You can also get picked up by an uber for a reasonable price.

My wife and I had a great stay. Other than one other guest, everyone was nice and quiet. The parking situation is not great, but there was plenty of parking on the street around the property.

Elegant turn of the century decor in dining/game room, parlor & guest rooms w/fireplaces was lovely and comfortable. Will be a plus when evening social hour and continental breakfast added to amenities. Easily walkable to a variety of coffee/pastry shops & casual or fancier dining & lots of quaint shops. Perfect Pacific Grove Mother’s Day weekend 💝😍👌

A beautiful historic Victorian which was very cozy & close to many restaurants. We loved our stay.

Great location and classic charm!

Quiet, nice view of ocean from balcony, great walk to lover's point and dinner at Fandango.

Lovely house with nice amenities and easy parking.
Bed was comfy, room clean. Storage for food in the frig downstairs.

Black out shades would be nice as it’s very sunny in the am.
