Best Western Plus St. Augustine I-95

Needs to work with the cleaning part. It was ok. Very quiet, good location!

Accidentally booked handicapped room so not my favorite shower. Not their fault. Staff was kind.

Pool area was not clean. Toilet in our room was clogged when we arrived. Building seems to be in disrepair. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

Wonderful stay!

The floors in the hallway were stained with dirt from traffic. The bathroom towels had a few stains on them. The toilet wasn’t attached properly to the wall so it shook. Beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The shower head wasn’t shooting out due to calcium buildup. Cobwebs in corners of the room.

Our last night, no hot water.

We choose Best Western whenever possible while travelling. The room and facility were clean and newly updated. Bed was comfortable. No problem with nitetime noise & we had a room next to us with 3 kids (3-6 yrs old) & never heard them till breakfast. Breakfast was decent and changed a little each day we were there (4 nites).
My only complaint is there was NO hot water on last full day there & did NOT enjoy the COLD shower at all! It was not fixed when we checked out & no compensation at all was offered & at checkout not even an apology? This is only reason I gave it only 3 stars. Not to say this will deter us from continuing to sleep at Best Westerns when available in the future.

The room was spotless! Staff is nice and breakfast was yummy. Will be back.

TRAVELERS BEWARE - Upon arrival at 8:45 pm we parked in a broke down construction area with abandoned business surrounding the hotel and clearly a rough part of town. We then waited in the lobby and no-one one was there walked around for 15 minutes then began knocking on doors then finally a guy came out and barely spoke or moved and gave us a key and told us don't put the key by anything electronic or it will reset. We got into the elevator and there was sticky liquid all over the ground. Went upstairs and one key didn't work but the second did. Went in the room and the smell in the room was disgusting. Went back down and then got another key then went up and went to sleep since it was late and my family was tired. I lied in bed thinking something was off and concerned. Woke up to my family being covered in bedbugs we took videos. Actual bugs everywhere, showed the videos to the women at the front desk. She was not even slightly concerned or surprised but she was nice and she offered a refund instantly and said sorry and didn't question us at all. When she watched the videos of the bedbugs she acted like bed bugs and filth was a common thing and was so fast to refund us. Scary location, disgustingly dirty hotel, dirty room, no front desk workers present ever. Worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. Utterly disgusting. No way anyone normal would give this place less than the lowest possible rating. TRAVELERS BEWARE
