Pros:

Salle à manger agréable, pas trop bruyante, tables bien espacées, joli parquet. Buffet sympathique mais pas très fourni.

Cons:

Chambre ridiculement petite, directement sous les toits, une petite fenêtre avec vue sur les toits, climatisation inadaptée et bruyante, salle de bain passable.

Convenient stay in the city’s center on the West Bank of the Saône River.
Pros:

A Best Western hotel in an ancient welcoming style, probably continued from the formerly Hotel d’Eurooe et d’Angleterre. Good sized rooms are kept in an ancient style. Excellent breakfast and coffee to be poured from a ready waiting coffee can instead of from those dreadful modern coffee machines (with often waiting lines).

Cons:

Limited parking inside the property is possible upon reservation but rather expensive for € 20

A piece of history
Pros:

The property was brilliant, we loved it! It had a historical charm on the outside (original tiles in the lobby even!) with the modern comfort of a four star hotel in the room. The location was great, got to see an amazing sunset on the river, overlooking the bridge. Also, the coolest parking and elevator!
We had an excellent dinner in the garden with great wine from the hotel’s collection. Also, the receptionist (so sorry didn’t catch his name) was so welcoming and helpful, very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the area. By the end of the evening, what was supposed to be just a hotel it became a bit of history exploration.
We very much enjoyed our stay and on our next road trip in the region, we’ll definitely stay there again.
