Important information:

Children's meals are not included in the rate. Children up to 15 years old stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Extra beds can be placed in suitable rooms, please contact the hotel to confirm if possible in the room you are selecting.

Renovation work is done from 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday. Rooms are being added above the Garden and Spa wing. All works are due to be finished in Autumn 2022.

Lovely hotel, but annoying and inconvenient being left waiting around a lot.

Some of the staff very friendly and helpful
Room was amazing and bed very comfortable
Everything you could need provided for you for a baby plus things you wouldn’t even think about

Cons:

Left waiting for ages constantly
When we arrived left for 15 minutes before anyone checked us in
Dinner reservation made and yet when we arrived there was no table ready
Drinks order taken then Left for a further 15-20 minutes and then they came to take our food order and was only then told there would be a 40 minute wait… we had a baby with us
Why couldn’t he have been told that 20 minutes beforehand??
Food all over the floor

Breakfast this morning there was food from the previous evening under the tables on the floor

Also told the hot buffet would be topped up, but it never was.

Lovely tasting food but not a lot for the price

Also annoying that we were told there was a shuttle into Fowey
Waited for AGES and turns out it’s not even running this time of year. So ended up paying £8 for a taxi and the same back as my partner & baby had already walked down and being disabled myself I couldn’t walk down (just make sure you’re given the right info for the time of year)

Enjoyed it but food could have been better
