Pros:

L’emplacement était vraiment bien! Proche de la plage et, en voiture, les restaurants ne sont pas très loin. L’établissement était très calme, et c’etait propre. Nous avons obtenu une chambre plus grande que ce que nous avions réservé, ce qui était une agréable surprise de la part du propriétaire! L’air climatisé de la chambre fonctionnait bien.

Cons:

Le matelas et la literie étaient très peu confortable. La douche était désuette, et le jet d’eau était faible. L’établissement aurait besoin d’un petit coup de rajeunissement. L’arrivée s’est fait par téléphone, et nous n’avons jamais vu le propriétaire des lieux durant les trois jours que nous étions là, ce qui est un peu une drôle de façon d’accueillir les clients.

Pros:

Das Haus ist nur einen kurzen Fußweg vom Strand entfernt. Allerdings kein Restaurant oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Ansonsten hat uns nichts gefallen.

Cons:

Das Haus war in einem nicht akzeptablen Zustand. Modriger Geruch, alte Möbel und vor der Veranda abgestellte Gegenstände. Im Zimmer funktionierte das fließende Wasser nicht. Der Eigentümer sitzt in Boston und ist nur per Telefoin erreichbar. Zugang über Code und Schlüsselsafe. Wir haben daraufhin die Buchung gerade noch fristgemäß stornieren können.

Cons:

The check-in process!!! The owner called and informed me to call when I arrived. Found out after I arrived he wasn’t onsite and really there was no one onsite to do checkin. He then insisted I give cc details over the phone which is NOT a secured process. He indicated he gave me upgraded room , goodness I’d hate to see a non upgraded room. The room was clean unless you dropped your phone under bed (not swept).The room and office area is a mass of antiques and junk cluttered around, even the lawn area had weeds a foot tall and cluttered w junk. Issues with shower, no communication or anyone ever in office area, no directions on checkout…….

One night was enough.
Pros:

He did have the bare essentials and we were glad we only had to rent for one night. WIFI was good.

Cons:

Room was not clean. Check in was very unorganized. I had a bug on me through the night. It is not updated whatsoever.

Perfect place if you are looking for a place to stay for a few nights at cape cod. Great location.
Pros:

Location! Absolut gorgeous. You can almost see beach from the window. Really quiet neighborhood, has its own parking lot and a place to have seat and eat a dinner outside

Cons:

Smelled like a moisture in old house.

It served our purpose and the owner took care of us when needed.
Pros:

The location was great and according to the owner we were mistakenly given a much lower rate than normal. He did however honor the lower price.

Cons:

The room is quite small and dated. The toilet would not flush but the owner came by the next morning and replaced all the internal parts. The Ocean view is from a roof top observation area not from the room.

Pros:

L'hôtel est typique de la Nouvelle Angleterre dans son architecture. Papiers peints à fleurs, rideaux en dentelles, planchers cirés, mobilier ancien, etc... On est très loin du design aseptisé des hôtels modernes ! On y vient pour le charme, le dépaysement, l'intimité. Situé à quelques pas de la plage, on peut sentir le vent de l'océan et l'air de la mer.
J'y suis allé fin janvier, sous la neige, un peu comme une retraite spirituelle, pour méditer durant de longues marches sur les plages enneigées. Et c'était l'endroit parfait pour résider quelques jours.
Quartier résidentiel. Nombreux restaurants alentours à environ 10 minutes en voiture. Magnifiques ballades à faire en toutes saisons. Sanitaires en parfait état. La douche fonctionne bien.

All in all it was a nice stay. I wish I could've stayed longer and the weather was better.
Pros:

I liked the location (once I found it). I was in a heavy snowstorm (blizzard like conditions), had a flat tire and it was at night. The owner's managed the site and she was nice, friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Parking wasn't real easy but I managed to get a space in front of the house. I had to dig myself out of the snow the next day, but t h ank goodness I had a good car.

Cons:

Very disappointing stay.
The room was extremely cold, and the heater was not working properly. I had to sleep fully dressed because the temperature was unbearable.

Early in the morning, I had no choice but to leave and move to another hotel, since I could not stay in that room any longer.

This is a region where it snows, so the hotel should take guests’ comfort seriously and provide heating systems that actually work. Unfortunately, my experience was very uncomfortable and stressful.
