Pros:

Good location but facilities are dated. Close to the center of town. About a 10 minute walk to the waterfront area. Mansions are about 10-15 minutes in the other direction.

B & B close to everything
Pros:

Our suite was large and comfortable, furnished with an eclectic but attractive mixture of Victorian antiques and modern furniture (brown leather sofa, older mirrored side tables etc). Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, manager John was helpful and informative.

Roomy comfortable centrally located in Newport, RI
Pros:

This is a charming inn. The staff was so friendly. The room was spacious, but most importantly, it was spotless. There were four of us and the Parkview had multiple rooms in this suite for us to sleep in and relax. The breakfasts were great. Can't say enough good things. We would definitely stay there again.
