Pros:

Location great as we enjoy walking, rooms are spacious and you can't hear anyone in other rooms.

Cons:

Room was not cleaned properly before we arrived our 1 year old grandson almost choked on nuts left on the floor near the window. Disappointed that the restaurant was not open and only bar food available

Hotel staff sex room offered to us after a party and not cleaned
Pros:

We got allocated a room which had not been cleaned, wine bottles and dirty glasses where left, drink and food left in room, semen stains all over the furniture, room could only be explained as a staff sex room

Pros:

Breakfast was goo, room was clean

Cons:

A front facing would have been nice room as requested, despite the hotel being "not busy" we were put right at the end of the long corridor on the second floor, overlooking the car park with a floodlight illuminating the room even with the curtains closed. it was raining all night and a leak from the guttering (I assume) was running water onto our window sill sounding like a drumbeat keeping us both awake most of the night (reported to staff in the morning to fix).
Hotel usually great, had pleasant stays there before so a shame so many things not quite right this time.

Modern seafront hotel ideal for a weekend away
Pros:

Lovely seafront location and opposite a tram stop to take you to/from town.
Hotel is modern, clean and staff are v friendly.

Cons:

The sea view was spoilt (unsurprisingly) by dirty windows (4th floor)
