The ColdWater Inn

Attention all people of color! Do NOT I repeat DO NOT stay here. My family and I was treated so poorly while staying here, we just decided to leave during breakfast after being rushed to leave at 9:20am mind you the breakfast area closes at 10am. I asked the white lady that worked in the kitchen could I have the bacon she was putting away at first she acted like she didn’t hear me I said mam the lady yelled WHAT!!! I was so thrown off and never been spoken to like that. My 6 year old daughter wanted apple juice and the lady said no because we don’t know how to clean up after ourselves apparently. We just got in there and sat down. We haven’t touched a thing. There was two other families that were white and she did not harass them telling them they needed to hurry up because breakfast close at 10am. We had 40 minutes left!! A husband from one of the families actually had to tell her she was not being professional. Again people of color do not go here. I will not stay at this establishment ever again and I suggest you don’t stay here either.

The Coldwater Inn has a beautiful lobby, a beautiful staircase up to the second floor where there is a beautiful sitting area. The rooms are nice and the breakfast was very good. What a great hotel for $86 a night. I was very glad we had two nights booked as I didn't want to leave. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel as nice as this for a price like this. An excellent value.

The lobby is nice and the people friendly but
The rooms are not clean and in need of maintenance. Our tv didn’t work at all ! Obviously no check list to make sure everything is operational prior to check in. Defiantly needs reevaluating on the star rating as a 2 is fair and that’s only because the people working there are so nice!

Lobby area very nice and breakfast was good. Was put into one of their recently renovated rooms. The rooms are not ready to be sold but they needed them because of occupancy. No rod in closest, no hangers, no iron or board, no refrigerator, paint all over bathroom fixtures, no lights between beds, no pictures on walls, no TP holder, limited bathroom amenities. The TV in room is tiny! Hope when Hilton comes in they kick them up a notch!

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in a while.

Everything was great. Clean rooms, friendly staff, easy check in. Would definitely recommend!

The lobby was a nice place to sit and converse with a friend with comfortable chairs and couches all around. The room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

Goos

The hotel.is just outside of Muscle Shoals. It is a cozy hotel.
Muscle Shoals is a nice little town with a lot of music history.

The property was very nice and the staff was friendly!

Great deal for a nice-size room in lovely hotel.

The hotel was unique and close to being excellent. There is construction going on, but we were up and gone by 930 or so and it did not affect us. The decorations were interesting, but definitely made it stand out a bit from similar hotels. The only negative was that the floor in our room was dirty and very sticky in one spot otherwise it was nice.

Just an absolute Southern delight. The grand lobby furnishings, 2nd floor lobby - Oriental carpets, decor and tapestries all 1st class. Guest amenities and breakfast were very good. Desk staff offered Southern hospitality!

Great hotel for a quick stay. Some areas are dated but they are remodeling some rooms so I know they are addressing some of these issues. Breakfast area was super clean.
