Late check in
Found my new favorite place to stay in Madeira Beach! Checked in to Barefoot Beach Club for spring break in late March. We were able to get in to our room a little early, we left our bags and head straight to the beautiful pool area-we were so happy with this resort! The two bedroom condo was so clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay! The beach was fantastic it was hard to decide if we should sit by the pool or beach each day. We also loved how close we were to John's Pass, for shopping, live music and dinning.
Beach is awesome and we loved our oceanview balcony
Didn't go in the hot tub as there were usually too many kids in it which is discouraging. Also, I wish they would have had the music on in the pool area the whole time we were there instead of just the last day or two. It adds a bit of resort-feel with music playing. And they could get a little better pool towels as they were super thin and not soft.
Looking forward to the rooftop bar opening hopefully next year as that provides amazing views and would be a nice added feature to this hotel.
Location
Squeaky beds
On the beach, and good walking distance to shopping and food.
Room could have been a little more clean. Under beds and dresser should be cleaned after every stay. Did get bitten every night by something in the room.
We loved our stay…no complaints!
Location to the beach.
2 pools.
All staff were kind, helpful and professional.
Seeing dolphins swim by every morning, and watching the sun set every evening.
I loved the jacuzzi!
The room smelled musty.
The pull-out couch wasn't very comfortable.
The refrigerator was too small.
The only ice maker was located on the 2nd floor. That was inconvenient.
There is a sign on the jacuzzi that kids have to be 18 yrs. old, however it was not inforced.
Right on the beach and close to alot of restaurants
Toilets by the pool were always clogged
Location location location!
The shower didn’t get super warm but that was about all I didn’t like.
Close to beach not long walk
Room was situated weirdly TV was in odd spot
Loved the location and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pool was overcrowded and very noisy after hours (despite rules stating that it closed at 9pm). Other resort rules were not enforced (ex- resort facility was supposed to be smoke free however we couldn’t even sit on our balcony due to neighbors smoking weed).
The room was nice. The location was perfect. It was close to restaurants and stores. The beach was beautiful.
Quiet time hours were from 10:00-6:00. Many nights there were kids playing/making lots of noise on the balconies and in the pool area.
Quiet location, yet very close to John’s Pass, never had to use the car!
The master bedroom bed sloped down at the head of the bed.
