Good size room with a balcony overlooking the excellent beach directly below. Facing west it was ideally located for those great sunsets. Very comfortable and good parking (chargeable) at the hotel. No food facilities at the hotel but numerous different restaurants within easy walking distance.
Could be noisy at times depending on other guests. The sound insulation between rooms wasn't great and with tiled flooring any movement of chairs or heavy shoes from the room above could be easily heard.
Bathroom was very clean but really rather dated and showing it's age.
On beach
Clean rooms and great beach view.
We love it here. Very family friendly. No pets. No smoking. No stress. Perfect.
Everything here is great.
Barefoot Beach Club is my favorite place to stay when I visit St. Pete. The staff is always very friendly & my room is always amazing, it has the best up-close beach accessibility and views.
There is nothing not to like about the property
We found the Barefoot Beach Club via TripAdvisor's great reviews & made the long drive over from Delray Beach, so we didn't arrive until after dark. It did NOT disappoint & we WILL be back to stay longer next time!
The staff was very friendly, both on the phone when I called mid-drive for reservations, & in person when we arrived, plus in the morning when we were leaving. The beach has fine white sand & was very clean, too. The rubber wristbands with your electronic hotel key embedded in it worked great & is one less thing to keep track of when you're on the beach (or stumbling back drunk from the bars nearby, if that's your jam).
The king studio #402 overlooking the pool was way bigger than I expected & although it did not have a dedicated bedroom door to close for privacy, the half wall divider between it & the living room area blocked off enough sound/light so I could sleep while my husband watched tv into the wee hours.
From the balcony we could partially see the beach in the morning & since we arrived so late at night, paying extra for a room facing the ocean wasn't a priority for our 1 night stay. We'd probably do it tho when we stay longer next time because we definitely will return!
A few blocks away (just a short walk) is the John's Pass Village & Boardwalk, which would be so much fun to do by day, however most every restaurant & shop was closed because we arrived later at night. We did eat at the Pirates Pub-N-Grub & the shrimp tacos were good.
Next time we want to try The Friendly Fisherman restaurant because it came highly recommended by the hotel staff, but it was closed by the time we got there. There's a Waffle House a short drive away which is where we ate breakfast on our way out of town because you can't go wrong with the WH breakfasts & they're still affordable, too.
Anyone thinking about booking the Barefoot Beach Club, just DO IT!

Loved the location. All staff were eager to assist and were friendly.
Pool area was super clean. Beach was easily accessible.
The only way it could be better is if we had a full view of ocean from every room.
Alles
Im Badezimmer könnten noch ein paar Haken sein, dass man die Handtücher aufhängen kann
