breakfast good
room bad
carpet dirty
very noisey heater/aircon
no water in room
no where to buy a drink after 9pm - thats bad
not enough staff manning reception/bar
all of the baove
Good location for what we needed. Nice and quiet at the weekend. Breakfast was brilliant
Bed was too hard
We were given the wrong room, but the Manager upgraded us to a great family room, perfect for us
Location.
Staff ignored us at reception on arrival.
The hotel had a bad smell.
The sofa bed hadn’t been made up. Older lady came to make it who was struggling physically. She was kind and friendly though unlike the other staff.
The bedside phone was disgustingly dirty.
Charlie from reception was vaping outside.
The chef was sat at reception chatting. Bit like an all lads club. Like ‘The Office’ sitcom.
There’s an old bookcase for kids near reception which looked rubbish.
The whole place felt run down and unclean.
We left within hours of arriving.
A totally negative experience.
Complete rubbish.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful
The room was right next to the busy road so I was disturbed by travel noise. The mattress tipped to one side. The bathroom had a lot of problems including water coming up the bath plug hole so we weren't able to use the bath or have a shower. The basin plug did not hold water in the basin.
Location from M40 on way home to the South was ideal.
Reception, Bar area, Eating area and kid zone were all merged into one larger area directly off of main entrance
with minimal to no partitioning.
An elderly couple had a very wobbly round dining table which became unstable when they moved.
Breakfast was fair...not as good as Premier Inn standards.
Staff were excellent.
TV in room didn't work.
Coffee maker in room didn't work.
Room was small...it was advertised as a superior.
It was nothing special for the cost.
Location. Free parking
Was made to pay for breakfast that was never received. Beds were uncomfortable. Dated decor. Staff weren’t helpful. Not enough staff working. Shower was barely warm.
The food was really good. Both dinner and breakfast with a great selection.
I also loved the attitude and dedication the staff had. They were under staff but they were still attentive and the manager needs a raise as he is one man dong 3 jobs bless him and does it with a smile
My only negative I have if I am being very very picky is I would have liked some coat hooks in the rooms but that is it.
Breakfast was really good. Plenty of choice and all fresh. Staff very friendly and approachable.
Nothing really, except maybe a little more choice on evening menu, for people staying a few nights.
Room was not good enough and carpet was very dirty
Location of the property
Staff friendly I had booked for two nights on two different bookings I asked and staff arranged for us to be able to have the same room for two nights instead of checking in on one day checking out in the morning and then having to check in again later that day
The staff were lovely, couldn’t fault them and were swift to fix the issue which was on arrival (which was an hour and a bit after official check in time) we were given the key and arrival at the room it hadn’t been cleaned or sorted yet. They were kind to give us a drink while we waited. The rooms were lovely and quiet, we stayed over bank holiday and didn’t hear anyone coming back to their rooms or noise which was good. Breakfast was very nice, but I felt for them as clearly understaffed for a bank holiday as things were running out fast and not able to keep up with demand of cups and food. But they were always happy to grab stuff when you asked, just needed more help for a busy weekend so it was a bit smoother of a morning. It was an easy one night stay for what we needed.
Wouldn’t stay longer than one night
Closed to everything
Breakfast was not great . Nothing ready and waiting for cutlery.
Location was great. Ample parking.
Very good staff. Especially Elvis. He was running around doing all sorts of duties. Breakfast was good & tasty. Good variety. Rooms cleaning was fine.
Only 2 staff running the whole restaurant including the breakfast. Hotel seems to be understaffed.
My bed cover had blood marks.
Was not impressed by the bed. Sunk in the middle.
