Disappointing. We expected better from IHG group. Very poor.

Hope to be back
Pros:

The location is super to access the city. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

I received an email 2 days after we left telling me that the Dragon Race would impact our parking! Luckily we have stayed in the hotel many times before and know the procedure if the Brayford Warf road is closed i.e. Park in the multi storey car park and wait until the road opens again.

If you are looking for a hotel with a good location, stay here.
Pros:

The staff were really helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our first room but it was resolved quickly by the staff who moved us to another room.They had a great breakfast selection. It was close to the town centre and train station.

Cons:

The rooms were a little tired and could do with decorating. The rooms smelt stale. We had an issue with our air conditioning unit, it was leaking so we had to move rooms. The kettle still had water in it. The bathroom could do with a little stool so you can put your clothes on them. The windows could do with cleaning. There were a couple of stains on the bedding.
