Pros:

Posizione eccellente, staff presente e accogliente per ogni difficoltà . Struttura semplice ma pulita.

Cons:

Situazione spiaggia: non siamo mai riusciti a trovare posto in prima fila. Nonostante fosse prevista una regola secondo la quale, dopo mezz’ora di assenza degli ospiti, i teli sarebbero stati rimossi e il posto lasciato libero, lo staff addetto alla spiaggia sembrava ignorare sistematicamente la situazione. Questo ha penalizzato gli altri ospiti, che si sono trovati impossibilitati a usufruire dei posti disponibili.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The restaurant offered great food. Two bars, beachfront service.

My daughter loved the beach and the pools very clean.
Pros:

One of the most Important thing is how close it is to the beach, especially if you are traveling with children, not like the big resorts where you have to walk very far just to get to the beach.

Cons:

One thing that is very annoying is the music that all the bars are playing around here and it is very hard to have a good night rest, but if you are a deep sleeper, if could be a great fit.

die Lage ist zwar perfekt, aber gegen Mittag kommen die Boote aus Cancun und legen direkt am Strand an. Dann ist es laut & hat viele Personen am Strand.

Pros:

Excellent spot on Playa Norte -- year after year I am so grateful to stay here. The team at the hotel is amazing, as is the the team on the beach. Chepo has been our server year after year and he's incredible. So attentive, fast and friendly. Great hotel, great location

Good enough
Pros:

Nice hotel, but the photos of the beach are a bit deceptive because Playa Norte is a public beach and packed with people. There are also several beach clubs / restaurants around that start playing music at 8 am. We stayed 3 nights at the Ixchel. The hotel itself was very good: definitely not 5 star, but very comfortable. We upgraded to one of the larger rooms with a kitchen and sitting area so that we could get a balcony. The balcony was heaven! The room itself was spacious and clean with good storage space for our clothes, a comfortable bed, dual sinks, and a nice shower. But be aware that the two sides of the hotel straddle a road that ends at the beach, with a small pool on either side. The hotel has a bunch of lounge chairs on a marked off section of the beach, but the chairs are packed together like sardines and there is really no way to get away from other people. So, if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the place, but it was very pleasant, and Isla Mujeres, with lots of good little restaurants, is fun for a few days, but I suspect we won't be going back.

Another great vacation at Ixchel Beach Club
Pros:

We’ve been coming here since 2014 to escape the cold Michigan winters and are never disappointed. Well appointed rooms and an unparalleled location just steps from the ocean. Special shoutout to Edgar who quickly sorted out our room request on our first day; Hugo, for the accommodating and excellent service at Kalak; and Mauricio, property manager extraordinaire who makes it all look easy.
Thanks for a wonderful trip!
