Ixchel Beach Hotel

The experience was great. Awesome location, lots to do, great food, and great service especially at Kalak! Hugo was awesome for services at Kalak.

We have been going to Ixchel for over ten years. It is the most amazing place to stay on the island! All the rooms are great and very comfortable, As soon as you walk in you feel like you’re home ❤️. Kudos to all the staff! For making our stay memorable as always! Special shout out to Chepo, the last original server on the beach! All the front staff and our excellent maid Mari! See you all next year 🏖️

This was my fourth time at Ixchel and it never disappoints. Everyone is so helpful. At the beach Cesar and Chepo are terrific at their jobs. Highly recommended.

We had a amazing vacation! staff is lovely - friendly, thoughtful and pay attention to detail.
Beach and restaurant staff Che , Allen, Hugo, Jesus, Julieta and I am sure we missed a few provided excellent service! Housekeeping staff kept the rooms very tidy and refilled water as needed. Front desk staff were also very helpful when we arrived.
Rooms are very clean and well taken care of.
We had a fabulous time and hope to return next year!

We absolutely loved our time at Ixchel Beach Hotel! We came down to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff knew we were coming to celebrate. Upon arrival we found a complimentary bottle of wine in our room with a beautiful towel display on our bed of swans kissing and making a heart shape. What a warm welcome! We chose Ixchel because one of the friends traveling with us was here not long ago and loved it. We are so glad we came and look forward to visiting again. This hotel has the best location on the island. How lucky are we to walk out and right to the beach? Not only that, they helped with chairs and umbrellas. All included. The food and drinks were great and inexpensive. It was clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I love this place. We always stay at this hotel, excellent place, location and beach is wonderful. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our favorite staff member is Cheppo. He always greets us as old friends and takes good care of us while on the beach. We never have to worry about anything because Cheppo is always there. I can't wait for my next trip to Isla Mujeres and to Ixchel Hotel.

Best hotel in the island! It's at a prefect location on the beach and walking distance to the main street with restaurants and shops. We have stayed here many times over the years. They always make us feel welcomed. The beach service is the best, we always ask for Chepo's area. He always gives us the best service!

We had a great time at Ixchel in a 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything you needed. The location can't be beat. My favorite part is the friendly staff. From checking in to checking out, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. I'm horrible with names and wish I wrote them down but the man who checked in my 2 sons and I was great (blue eyes!). I fell in a hole in the road and sprained my ankle and he offered to call a doctor. We were also very happy to see that our favorite person Chepo is still there! Cesar on the beach was very nice too.

Fourth time at Ixchel. Room was nicely updated. Amazing shower! The BEST beach service by Chepo and Cesar! Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful room and property. The service is excellent. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was always perfectly clean. The property is very clean. The pool and beach area are gorgeous. The on site restaurant food was very good, always exceeding our expectations. I would definitely return.

We’ve been going to Isla Mujeres for the past seven years. Specifically we’ve stayed each time at Ixchel. It’s beautiful! The restaurants are excellent and there is a large variety of restaurant types. The people on Isla are wonderful. There are so friendly and each year they greet us with hugs. The beach at Ixchel is spectacular. Hidalgo street is walking distance from Ixchel and is the Main Street where you will find many restaurants and local vendors. Cabs are available for longer trips but it’s fun to rent a golf cart to explore the island on your own. We rented a condo at Ixchel. It was large with kitchen facilities and a balcony with a view of the Gulf. The condo was cleaned daily. New sheets and towels were also provided daily. I would definitely recommend both Ixchel and Isla Mujeres.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Location was excellent, easy access to the beach and pools. The staff was courteous, and went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed.

We enjoyed our stay here. The suite was very spacious, large bathroom vanity and excellent shower! The restaurant was very good as were the wait staff ( kudos to Hugo and Julieta).
There were days when the beach was quite crowded but I think that’s how it is on the north end of the island.
