I like Heritance Ahungalla because of its beautiful beach, relaxing atmosphere, amazing ocean views, and elegant architecture. It is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy Sri Lanka's natural beauty.
The breakfast buffet was good but you can get that at any 4 star hotel but better at other 5 star hotels.
It was very dated. As you drive in you think this is not 5 star. Then everything is dated from there on. There is no where else to go neither. Good only if you want the same scene for your stay but not 5 star.

I recently stayed at Heritance Ahungalla for the second time, and once again it was a fantastic experience.
As a travel agent, I visit many hotels, and I can honestly say this is one of the best in Sri Lanka. The location is a perfect 10/10, directly on the beach, with a beautiful and well-maintained property and an amazing infinity pool overlooking the ocean.
The food was outstanding – easily a 10/10. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Nelka, who was always kind, helpful, and the perfect contact person throughout our stay.
What impressed us most was that, although the hotel was fully booked, the team arranged another room for us for a late check-out so we could stay longer and enjoy the facilities before our flight.

in the main restaurant it would have been amazing if the waiter would ask the customer if they want water, which is free, we had to ask for the free water every time. In the beginning we did not know that there was the possibility to get water.
Breakfast- Table arrangement is not comfortable, Too compact ,noicy not even spaces to walk with a plate.
Restorent is not attractive and poor interior decoration and arrangement.

-I noticed it, Dress code is not suit for your staff both male and female, It will cause to reduce the efficiency and effectiveness of thier works. I think, You have introduced it with a mind of domestic traditional theme.
Had a very pleasant and calm stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful. Service is also good. Everyone was welcoming and attentive to our needs. The hotel was exceptional with a long beautiful beach area. It had a library, lounge areas, volleyball court and etc .Great place for a couple or a family. We booked the junior suite for two nights. Food was really good. Mr Shawyantha was really helpful with the arrangements for our special requests.
Loved everything about the hotel — it holds a lot of nostalgia and sentimental value for me. Hasn't changed much.
