Watch your credit card charges

The beds were comfy.

I did not appreciate being charged for the rooms prior to arriving when I specifically checked that I would pay on arrival. When I arrived I told the man that was checking me in, I wanted to switch cards on file. He then told me that he couldn't do that, but would try. When I was checking out, I asked the lady that was helping me to please fix this and credit my card that was originally charged. She stated she did and printed me receipts for the correct card that was charged. I had booked 5 rooms, two of which were paid for by one of the people in my group and I paid for three rooms. When I returned home, I noticed that there were 3 charges on my credit card and two on the card I had originally used to book the rooms. I texted my friend who had paid for two of the rooms and she called the hotel. After that call, the charges were rectified. Then I noticed the card I used to pay for the 3 rooms now only had two rooms charged and there was still one room on the prior card. I guess I should be happy we weren't charged twice for two of the rooms. You really shouldn't charge the rooms until your patron arrives at your establishment. Will never stay there again.

Pros:

Staff were friendly. Pool was the highlight for my grandson. A lot of chlorine tho

Cons:

Bed was hard and uncomfortable. AC kept going out so the room was warm as well as the fan not staying on to help cover the noise from upper floor.

Convenient location off of 690.

Cons:

Cleanliness, staff was helpful. Breakfast was delicious!!! Although they were in the middle of renovations, the public areas were very clean. It was a nice touch to have cookies, apples and ice water in the lobby for the taking.

Pros:

Great stay, would definitely book again. Out of city area and so quiet. Complimentary breakfast was good, many choices. Pet area was clean and bags were provided.

Pros:

The bed was very comfortable, and there was a blanket available to use instead of the duvet which I really appreciated. Also, there was a fan in the bathroom which seems to be less common in hotels now. The breakfast started early in the morning and had a good variety of options.
