Beautiful accommodation- clean comfortable

2nd visit to the wonderful Mariposa Hotel.
Location is excellent, 5 minute walk from Malaga Central station and 5 minutes you are in the centre for shopping, restaurants and bars.
Breakfast included in the deal and there was a great selection on offer, both hot and cold.
Room was really nice with a good size bathroom. There is also a rooftop bar.
Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
If travelling to Malaga this is an amazing hotel to stay, I highly recommend it and when next in Malaga I will definitely stay here again.

De locatie en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Het hotel is netjes en opgeruimd. Er stond een glazen fles water voor ons klaar, er was een minibar en een kluisje op de slaapkamer.
Tapijt op de vloer van de kamer vind ik heel onhygiënisch.
De man die het ontbijt verzorgde had een hele sterke lichaamsgeur (oud zweet). Dat is niet prettig als je aan het eten bent.
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The location is fantastic in a quiet street but so close to everything and the staff are absolutely amazing nothing is too much trouble. You have a really good choice for breakfast and all fresh and plenty of it. On the roof you have somewhere to sunbath and also a lovely bar which is open until 1 am. I will definitely be staying there again and cannot recommend it enough.
Nothing everything was fantastic
Great location, large comfortable room, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff.
Convenient location in the Soho area, 5 mins walk from Malaga Centro station and a short stroll to the large indoor food market and main shopping area.Also convenient to an amazing choice of restaurants/eateries in the area where we ate both evenings of our stay. The hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere with fabulous pieces of art in the form of paintings to sculptures in the breakfast area to the rooftop bar( which was lovely to sit and chill with a drink at the end of the evening)
This was a celebratory stay for my husband and I , and to our surprise , when checking in, had a room upgrade that was just the cherry on the top ! Our room looked out into the street below but we were not disturbed by any noise. The place was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only fault I could find was that apart from a couple of English speaking news channels on the huge tv in our room, there were no other English speaking channels available. To be fair , we weren’t there to watch the tv but it would have been nice to have the choice.
There was also a safe available in the room , fully stocked fridge, bathrobes, slippers, flip flops for ( I’m assuming) standing in the bath if having a shower, and little touches like a hat, paper fan and a charging point for electronics at the desk area in the room.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you wanted a little more luxury for your money when staying in Malaga . Perfect location , amazing choices at the breakfast buffet and I would definitely came back to stay again when visiting this fabulous city
Fabulous locations. Room was spacious and loved the complimentary water each day. Very clean as well great water pressure in the shower as well.
Whole hotel needs a refurbishment. It’s very dated overall.
