Pros:

We were using it as a transit stop from Stowe to E Anglia. Location was excellent. The check in was quick. The room/bathroom were very clean and everything worked. The breakfast was excellent.

It was fantastic!
Pros:

The staff were courteous and friendly. We loved our room, particularly the air conditioning, a real lifesaver on the scorching summer day we chose to stay. Breakfast was also excellent, offering a great variety of food.

Cons:

The room was immaculate and tidy, the only downside being the price, which could be more competitive

Pros:

Tha hotel was a lovely big hotel with good amenities, ample secure parking, restaurant was nicely designed and food was amazing . Staff very friendly and professional, room was a good size clean and tidy and comfortable.

Cons:

The rooms had air con and a bit noisy when on but you could turn them off so not too bad but a god send in hot weather , the shower was designed with half glass and just stand shower no bath so the water ran out the other end and on floor so you need towels down to absorb the water.

Short and sweet
Pros:

Breakfast staff were great - even though at one point they were overran with guests and it was a little chaotic.

Most of all the gentleman on the desk when we checked out was fab, happy, upbeat, friendly and helpful. He made a real fuss of our 2 little girls giving them colouring bits and bubbles, really made an impression on us.

Cons:

Check in was difficult - both girls were on the desk were flat, had to ask a few questions to get all the information we needed when something as basic as how the restaurant/breakfast works etc should perhaps have been explained?
I used to work for holiday inn and just found the difference from the evening staff to the morning staff - night and day quite literally.
Rooms were basic but aren’t most HI’s

Met our expectations
Pros:

Great for what we needed - a room for three adults and two dogs. It was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, and parking was good. Within walking distance of an event we were going to.
