Underwhelming and uncomfotable stay
Pros:

Reception staff professional and welcoming

Cons:

I stayed in room 29, which was very dated, and the bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. There was condensation on the wall.

Hotel needs to be upgraded and should not be open due to poor facilities
Pros:

Room was spacious and clean

Cons:

Room was cold and drafty
No hot water throughout stay so I had a cold shower and my family couldn't have one at all - we were informed this was because of the high capacity staying at the hotel that night
Poorly designed breakfast area which was chaotic and not big enough to accommodate everyone even though there was an unused adjacent bar area - just thought it had all been badly thought out and they could easily open the area between the eating area and bar for breakfast
Poor snack facilities aside from the bar, just a couple of chocolate bars whereas the holiday inn express up the road had a lot more to choose from

Excellent & Comfy
Pros:

Excellent value for money. Nice big rooms, quick heating/ cooling, comfy beds, good WiFi and delicious breakfast.

Cons:

Extra filling stations for water on each floor could be helpful.

Overall, good.
Pros:

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good overall, apart from undercooked sausages!
The location was perfect for dogs.

Cons:

The food in the evening was terrible and overpriced. The room we had the second weekend was cold and there was no hot water in the shower in the morning.

Pros:

Was lovely and clean but the room was freezing there was no heating and when I spoke to the staff about it they said a manager would ring me and didn’t bother following this up with me and I had to children that was cold all night
