The place was nice and so was the area.
The jet tube was nasty. Tried to run it at least 10 times and nasty black chunks kept coming out of it so I never used to the tub because it was gross.
Never treated so poorly at a hotel/resort/B&B/VRBO, etc. Their sales tactics are absurd. I don’t mind the standard sales approach, but a healthy business shouldn’t need to be as aggressive as they are. The service and accommodations should ultimately sell themselves. Something is fundamentally wrong with this company.
Within a day-and—half I received 4 points of contact with staff telling me we needed to meet with them. Then they said if we didn’t, we would be charged a fee. We met our contractual obligation to meet with staff in January of this year at a different property and this was communicated to them ad nauseum.
Then they tell you they don’t have record of it. Not our problem. We did it. Period. They also bait snd switch you by using the “concierge” as an entrance to sales pitch you or tell you to meet with them.
“No” does not mean “no” here. The only thing that stopped it was complaining to the head of guest services. She was notably surprised that we were threatened with a fee if we didn’t meet with
I will never stay at a WM property again and will tell others not to as well. Not worth the headache.
First the positives. This property is in a good location being close to trails and Bend. The property also seemed well maintained and the pool area was particularly nice. The unit we stayed in had also been recently updated and was very clean upon arrival. It is unfortunate that the aggressive sales tactics disguised as concierge services outweigh the positives. In the first day of our stay we received a 10 minute phone call, two voicemails and five long text messages trying to get us to attend a sales meeting. We were also threatened with added fees if we did not attend. We were very clear that we were not interested but they did not respect our firm boundary. Finally we called and complained to a supervisor and this finally got the calls and texts to stop. We will never stay in another Worldmark property.
rooms looked freshly painted
small refrigerator
The location and grounds are great. The suite was clean and tidy. It's fairly reasonably priced. Plenty of outlets including 2 USB by the bed.
The bathrooms are TINY. You can't close or open the bathroom door while sitting on the toilet.
The paper products are a bit too cheap as are the toiletries.
No blackout curtains in the bedroom, only blinds. If you like it dark like we do, good luck...
The cheap, plastic-y carpet is noisy to walk on and disturbs people trying to sleep.
The wall mounted thermostats are nightlight bright. If you like it dark....
Wood burning, not gas fireplace? Fine if it's a truly rustic "cabin", but surprising at a "resort" suite.
The pools and hut tubs were clean and warm, its 15 minutes from skiing, the area is surrounded by forest, the kitchen and fireplace made the evenings nice
The shut down the primary water main one evening
I liked the proximity to the ski mountain, but it was ruined by the fact that there was no breakfast available, and never mentioned that while checking in, so we didn’t prepare… then offered a danish pastry in the lobby but then charged us!! And is was stale and un-eatable!!
There were some fun things for the kids to do, like swim and mini golf; but the mini golf course was completely in cared for…
I am writing this review based on my interaction with Wendy, in guest services. I booked a one bedroom unit for friends that will be arriving early March 2026. This pre-arrival courtesy call was to ask if there were any mobility issues in our group for stairs to unit et al.
It has been some time since I have been in Bend so I asked if she could answer a few questions about the resort and surrounding amenities. Wendy could not have been kinder! Mahalo Wendy for your genuine care and hospitality.
The resort is very outdated, a large remodel to begin soon. Very disappointed in the sales session. We wanted help in setting up our legacy with family and help in negotiating the system. All we got was a sales pitch for more money
No breakfast, good location
Young staff lacks customer experience, 3 hours late to check in with no compensation for the loss, didn’t give the right room number , parts in kitchen fell off almost hitting me
Loved the pools and hot tubs!!
From the welcome committee, including Kathleen, to the check-out process, everyone was pleasant, smiling, and attentive. With small issues that were fixed almost immediately, the whole stay was amazing. We were lucky with the weather, from being able to do some hiking to skiing. We couldn't ask for a better choice.
Everything
Nothing
The outdoor scenery was beautiful
We initially booked it for the pool and ice rink but unfortunately the weather had other plans😭
Room was very clean.
Bathroom was small and dated.
The resort is midway through a refresh but from what was completed, pool and hot tub areas they were all very nice. The renderings look great but don't let the fact that this is in process now diswade you from going. Our room was more than spacious, new woodland view, quiet and comfortable.
