My favorite place to stay in La Zona Colonial

Bel hôtel historique idéalement placé, petits détails à améliorer dans l'aménagement des chambres

Hôtel situé dans un magnifique bâtiment historique en plein centre de la ville coloniale, juste à côté des principaux centres d'intérêt de la ville
Piscine agréable, même si la vue depuis la terrasse sur le fleuve Ozama, le port en chantier, la circulation infernale sur le Malecon en contrebas et les silos de Trujillo sur l'autre rive n'est pas glamour
Agréable patio pour prendre le petit déjeuner buffet assez complet
Parking privé de l'hôtel à disposition juste en face

Cons:

Beaucoup des bâtiments historiques normalement à visiter de la ville coloniale étaient fermés pour rénovation, nous sommes restés 4 nuits alors que 2 nuits auraient largement suffi, l'essentiel des curiosités ouvertes de Santo Domingo (cathédrale, forteresse, place Colon) pouvant être vues en 1 seule journée
Notre chambre était certes grande, mais peu pratique (une seule armoire étroite pour mettre les habits, rien pour poser les valises, une seule chaise à roulettes, une table étroite le long du mur, des oreillers très mous, tous détails qui ne sont pas à la hauteur de la classe de cet hôtel)

Superb hotel in historic building A must stay in Santo Domingo.
Pros:

Fantastic hotel on an important historic building in this colonial city. Lovely spacious premises. Great restaurant. Do stay in one of the imperial rooms as you get access to a lounge with unlimited coffee and snacks all day. Lovely pool and beautiful premises.

Bel hôtel mais prix des chambres supérieures non au niveau et manque de amenidades
