L’emplacement

Cons:

Nous avons été extrêmement déçus par cette chambre, surtout compte tenu du tarif de 1 200 € par nuit. À ce niveau de prix, on s’attend à un véritable confort, à une conception soignée et à un mobilier de qualité. Malheureusement, cette chambre n’offrait rien de tout cela.

L’agencement est tout simplement déroutant. Le lavabo est installé dans l’entrée au lieu de la salle de bains, ce qui rend son utilisation quotidienne peu pratique. La salle de bains est équipée d’une baignoire avec une douchette, mais sans pare-douche ni rideau, si bien que prendre une douche inonde inévitablement le sol.

Les espaces de rangement sont également totalement insuffisants. Il n’y a pas de véritable penderie, seulement quelques portants à vêtements, une solution qui semble davantage adaptée à un hôtel économique qu’à un établissement de luxe.

Le mobilier et la décoration sont tout aussi décevants. La chambre est meublée d’un mélange étrange de portants bon marché, de meubles modernes, de chaises d’inspiration classique et de couleurs disparates, créant une atmosphère confuse et sans cohérence. On a l’impression que la chambre a été aménagée sans véritable réflexion sur le design ni sur sa fonctionnalité.

Même si la chambre était propre, cela ne suffit pas à justifier un tarif aussi exorbitant. Pour 1 200 € la nuit, je m’attendais à une chambre élégante, raffinée et fonctionnelle. J’ai au contraire découvert un espace mal conçu, où le confort a été sacrifié au profit d’un parti pris esthétique discutable.

Cela étant, je tiens à souligner que le manager et son équipe ont été à l’écoute de nos remarques et ont immédiatement cherché à trouver une solution satisfaisante. Leur professionnalisme, leur disponibilité et leur volonté de nous aider ont été sincèrement appréciés, même s’ils ne pouvaient pas remédier aux défauts fondamentaux de la chambre.

Super hotel on the shores of Lake Como with stunning view, wonderful facilities and extremely helpful staff
Pros:

Super hotel located on the shore of the lake. Rooms are comfortable and housekeeping do a super job every day. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and the staff are very helpful and professional. Pool is fantastic and lots of choice in seating and sunbathing overlooking the lake. Easy walk into Menaggio and access to the ferry. Would definitely recommend.

It was a magnificent hotel !
Pros:

The hotel is located steps from the ferry with is a big plus ! Eating a wonderful breakfast as you are looking at the lake was amazing . The hotel was just beautiful !

Cons:

Would like to have had complimentary water in the rooms along with cooler air conditioning.
Would also have liked to have pots of tea at breakfast instead of a single tea bag and pot of hot water.

Stunning hotel, stunning location, stunning views.
Pros:

Stunning hotel, fantastic location, free parking, friendly staff, good food and drink, short walk to the town centre. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade, giving us a view of Lake Como, which was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Cons:

No iron in the room, and none available to send up. Was shown to a laundry room with an iron and ironing board we could use, which was a surprise. There is no doubt the hotel is fantastic, and the price of staying there reflects that.
