Apart from its location and acceptable cleanliness, the negative experiences I encountered prevent me from recommending
Pros:

I only liked the location of the hotel. The cleanliness was acceptable, but apart from that, the overall experience was disappointing.

Cons:

The biggest issue during my stay was the noise and the lack of intervention by the hotel. In the room next to mine, a man and a woman were arguing loudly throughout the night. Due to the poor sound insulation, I could hear everything clearly. The shouting and disturbance continued until around 4:00 AM, and there was no intervention from the hotel.

In the early morning, I witnessed a woman leaving the room screaming and running away, while the man ran after her. It was a very disturbing situation, and unfortunately, it appeared that no action was taken to monitor or address the incident.

The breakfast was also disappointing. There was no information indicating whether the meat products served were pork, beef, or another type of meat. Considering that many guests may have dietary or religious preferences, such information should be clearly provided.

In addition, the breakfast selection was very limited. It mainly consisted of processed meat products such as salami and sausages. There was a lack of cheese varieties, olives, and other common breakfast options. Overall, the breakfast quality and variety were below expectations.

Very poor service

I made a last minute reservation using booking.com as I was attending a social event that overran and thought it would be better to go into a local hotel rather than a long train trip home. The booking went well, and I pre-paid, receiving a confirmation that the booking was successful.
However, when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told me that my booking had been rejected as there were no free rooms. I asked how this was possible, seeing they had accepted my booking and payment. I even showed him the booking.com app and it showed there were 6 or 7 room still available. The receptionist said there were no rooms and that there had been a "system error". This is really poor service and pushing the problem onto the customer. The receptionist was unwilling to own the problem or help me find alternative accommodation anywhere else. So I walked through the freezing cold looking for another hotel, and finally ended up catching an early hours train.
This is awful service for an allegedly quality hotel, especially seeing the "system error" was their fault and not mine.

UPDATE on 26th 2026. I have still not received my refund, although the receptionist said this would be refunded immediately.

Cons:

Receptionist should have owned the problem and found a solution.

Pros:

Het is een heel fijn en mooi hotel! De kamers zijn van alle faciliteiten voor zien. Je hebt weinig last van het geluid buiten. Je hoort wel wat geluiden van de gang.
De kamers zijn schoon. Het ontbijt is prima, en het personeel is heel vriendelijk.
Het bed is fijn, en je hebt airconditioning.
De locatie is top, heel dicht bij het centrum en het trein station.

Ik zou hier terug komen.
