Friendly and helpful staff. They were a bit overworked. One staff member for reception, bar and kitchen. Really comfortable bed
There was a drain smell from the bathroom sink. It made the whole room smell. This is likely part of a bigger problem, not necessarily the hotel’s fault.
Very comfortable, clean room. Very good cooked breakfast. Great location close to restaurants and pubs in Edgbaston Village and tram to city centre.
All the staff were professional and helpful.
Nothing.All good.
The staff were so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend
Having to leave
Breakfast was satisfying and staff were helpful
As I have a knee injury, a lift would have been preferred.
Decor tired. Unable to control the heating/ open windows, the bedrooms were far too hot.
Location
Was to cold in a room , the radiators was cold
Excellent staff
Good location.
Main door locked on arrival at 3.15pm. Stood outside for almost 10 minutes after knocking (no bell) and trying to ring.
On BOOKING.COM it states there is a restaurant serving dinner. This is NOT the case. Dinner is not served Friday to Sunday. I would not have booked this hotel had I known that.
Reception and bar areas are not clean (very dusty). Curtains hanging off poles. Chairs in the bar stained.
Rooms in the 'old' part of the hotel are just that 'old'. Don't be duped into paying for a 'superior' room as they are not!
Every thing was good, however we were charged £15 for car parking as we booked through you and would not be charged this if we booked direct. This was not mentioned on your website so I will not be booking this hotel through you again

Goed
Temperatuur. Veel te warm.
The room was cold so a fan heater was provided which helped but was too noisy to sleep with on.
The sate of the hotel was very run down. The carpets around the hotel were dirty.
Food was poor quality, breakfast was the worst as it was all overcooked.
Location Good room comfy bed
Bar closed at 9
Head of house keeping was so lovely & helpful. Room was clean
Bathroom not good for older traveller. And was not in main part of hotel. Heating didn’t work for first few hours so their solution was a fan heater. Bathroom seemed to be coming apart which did not inspire confidence
The hotel as a building is quite nice, and was nicely decorated. The location was good for that price point. Staff try to help.
Daily loud work going up above room had a very negative impact.
Heating that likes to reset to cold and you have to ask staff to fix it on several occasions.
Room could do with some minor updates such as a bit more lighting to ensure plenty of light when making hot drinks!
£15:00 car parking fee.
