Excellent staff in an excellent hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Evening meal menu was limited.

Cons:

We were disappointed that our balcony was so close to the restaurant outside space.

Niet veel keuze bij ontbijt voor een 5 sterren hotel.
In onze kamer was er schade aan vloer en in badkamer.

L’hôtel est magnifique!!! Les équipements sont parfaits. Et le personnel prêt à vous servir 24h sur 24.

Comfortable on the beach hotel,close enough to Lisbon to take trips if you get bored.
Pros:

Gorgeous location on the beach.
Beautiful architecture mimicking a cruise ship.Good value for money.Good food mostly.Nice restaurant overlooking the sea.
Spatious room.Big bathroom.
Big balcony with ocean view.
Very polite staff.Vanda from guest relations did her best to accommodate our requests.
She recommended us a serious taxi driver for our many trips to Lisbon.Ask for Tiago.

Cons:

Very early in the morning impossible to take a shower,instead of cold water only hot .Could not make a moderate temperature water.
Low quality mattress (springs)on the bed,needs upgrade to memory foam.(bad for my back)
Hard chairs at the pool,impossible to sit face down and again bad for my back.
Pool way too small for a five star hotel cold,not thermostated.
No vegetables(at all)at breakfast,no decent meat cold cuts,no assortment of jams,no pancakes.(if you claim 5 stars….)
Most days cleaning staff got to our room at 6pm,way too late in my opinion.
