Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Short but enjoyable 😉
Pros:

The location to the twin towers and aquarium.

Cons:

My only complaint was not being notified before arrival the sky bar and the breakfast restaurant was close. I personally like to get out of bed have breakfast and head back to bed, without having to walk from one building to another.

Brilliant stay
Pros:

Outstanding location - around the corner from the Towers. Lovely apartment with loads of space. Excellent swimming facilities.

Nowhere near as good as the Ascott Star….
Pros:

Location was good, size of the rooms were great and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

I don’t think the room had been cleaned to a satisfactory standard before our stay. The bathroom in particular was not very clean, especially the shower. There was plastic cellophane on the floor in the bedroom suggesting the room had not been hoovered before our stay. Staff were ok, not particularly friendly or accommodating (we requested a late check out as we had a late flight and it was only possible to extend for an additional 2hrs. On our trip, we also spent 3 nights at the Ascott Star which was a superior experience, I would recommend you stay at the Star, it is nicer than the Ascott and the staff and service are much better!
