Wonderful stay!
Pros:

We recently spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel. It's location is perfect - a short walk to all the squares and walking streets, but yet sufficiently away from noise. We were able to walk all over town, including the railway station. There's a small park right outside the hotel and a viewing platform for public, which was very nice too. Unfortunately, the lift to the beach was not operational, so we would have to walk down to the marina to catch ferries, and walk up flights of stairs and uphill streets to get back to the hotel. Not a tough walk.

We decided to splurge a little and booked a room with an ocean view balcony, which was just perfect! Waking up to the ocean view was heavenly! The bedroom was well appointed and bathroom had everything we needed, including a tub. The mattress, sheets, pillows, were all very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Most of all, their entire staff was exceptional! The front desk, breakfast, housekeeping staff are excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, outstanding staff, just beautiful
Pros:

We have just stayed for 4 nights in a classic with balcony and sea view. We had a good view but if you want a direct view I think you'd need to update to a deluxe.

All staff were amazing. Breakfast was plentiful. We opted for granola and fruit, but there were breads, cakes, fully cooked breakfasts, quiet a large choice.

Hotel was spotlessly clean. Great location.

Roof top bars view was fantastic, far excided what I expected. Due to the weather we only went on our last night but so glad we did.

This place is amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. Especially Mr Antonio at the restaurant will take care of you like a royalty. I cannot say good things about the people and this place, if you go to seronto you at this place. Also comfortable bed I ever slept on in any hotel that I spent recently. A++

Lovely hotel
Pros:

We were so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Not knowing anything about the area we totally were so happy. The location is wonderful. The views are amazing. Antonio at the breakfast is so friendly and Antonio and Giavonni at the bar are awesome. I would love to return during the warmer months to enjoy pool and outdoor areas. Just lovely. Also a great complimentry breakfast. Try the honey with lemon on a croissant. I’ll dream about this.

The hotel continental is located overlooking the swimming areas a short stroll to everything in Sorrento

The staff - all it seems were elderly gentlemen - can teach their younger peers a lot about making a guest feel special - they were all faultless

The only glitch was the EV charger in the basement was super slow and added just 6kwh in 8 hours - so a faster charger is what you would expect - it was however great to just get those 6kw..

A luxury stay along Italy's Amalfi coast
Pros:

The room was beautiful, well decorated with a stunning view. The staff were so polite, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the breakfast. There were great options between cooked food and continental. We particularly loved the music being played at breakfast and the spa was wonderful! We had such an amazing stay and can't wait to come back.

Trip of a lifetime! sorrento

Stayed five nights at the fabulous hotel Continental May 3 2025. It was a wonderful visit. Myself and my 49 yr old daughter shared a room and my two 20 something granddaughters shared another room. Breakfast was amazing!!! Hotel rooms and service was the very best possible rating we could give! The elevator down to the beach and water was so cool! Location was within 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. Would come back and stay here without going to Rome or even Positano!!! Such a beautiful place with gorgeous views! Cleanliness, and employees very friendly and front desk took care of everything that we needed!! Boat tours to Capri picked us up at our door. Ferry tours Positano within walking distance. Couldn’t be happier with the superior accommodations. Trip of a lifetime. Hoping I will be able to lure my husband to follow this same itinerary in the future!!!!
