The hotel continental is located overlooking the swimming areas a short stroll to everything in Sorrento
The staff - all it seems were elderly gentlemen - can teach their younger peers a lot about making a guest feel special - they were all faultless
Nothing -
The only glitch was the EV charger in the basement was super slow and added just 6kwh in 8 hours - so a faster charger is what you would expect - it was however great to just get those 6kw..
We liked everything about Hotel Continental
The staff are extremely friendly
Luca suggested a nice restaurant which we really enjoyed
The room was beautiful, well decorated with a stunning view. The staff were so polite, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the breakfast. There were great options between cooked food and continental. We particularly loved the music being played at breakfast and the spa was wonderful! We had such an amazing stay and can't wait to come back.
Location was great! Close to shopping and restaurants. Located on the Piazza della Vittoria with beautiful view of Vesuvio! The rooftop bar was amazing!
No complaints.
This hotel
Is Way over priced
Hotel room is extremely small could
Not open two suit cases at once bathrooms out dated
Amazing location. Convenient to the downtown for shopping and restaurants and the port for excursions
The restaurant was full the first night we got there. I asked the head maitre to recommend another restaurant.
He wrote down where we should go, what to order and what wine to drink. it was excellent. so good we returned the next night.
The gym facilities were good, and the reception staff were really friendly.
The Maitre d' or chef at the main restaurant was unfriendly towards me. I was travelling alone. He chatted to everyone else except me, which I thought was rude.
The other members of staff were nice.
Staff were amazing
The ocean view and our room
I think for the breakfast buffet, you should offer less and make what you do offer more grand and make sure there is enough. Each morning there were empty plates that were not refilled. Less is more sometimes. We still had a wonderful breakfast however.
Location…location and accomodation. Staffs are all pleasant. Good breakfats.

Hotel is really nice. Rooftop bar is awesome and hotel is in a perfect location.
I really liked everything but rooms a little on the smaller side.
Beautiful hotel, great location, friendly staff
The location was perfect. The patio and view was lovely! That said, the front desk staff was underwhelming and not friendly. We had to ask for multiple items to be restocked in the room. The bathroom was extremely small. The major concern was the drone flying directly above it on the patio one evening, which is a massive violation of privacy. I would not recommend this hotel overall.
Location was fantastic! Great views from the rooftop bar. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Staff was helpful and breakfast was great!
The Hotel Continental is in the style of classic Grand Hotels, and it mostly lives up to that standard, including twice-a-day room service. We had a medium-sized room with an incredible view of Naples Bay and Mount Vesuvius. The bathroom was modest. It has an old-fashioned bathtub/shower and a bidet. The bed was fine, and the room was only noisy when the wind blew. In that case, you could close the electronically controlled shutters to stop the noise.
The desk is a good size, but it has only one plug and no USB ports. In fact, that desk plug is the only one accessible in the bedroom. There are no plugs on the nightstands, but there is one in the bathroom. This is barely acceptable. I just can’t understand why hotels with insufficient plugs can’t install a power strip with plugs and ports. Still, the Internet worked well, and with the cords and plugs I bring, I can survive with one plug. Another small problem is that all the plugs shut with the lights and AC when you leave the room. That means you can’t leave anything to charge in your absence.
Breakfast was okay (with a live piano player!). Overall, service was excellent. The front desk was very responsive. There's a decent but small gym (not much used by the hotel's older clientele) and a swimmng pool.
Noteworthy items. There’s a scale in the bathroom. Can’t remember ever seeing one in a hotel room before. And one more. As is often the case, the tub/shower is a bit slippery. There’s a grab bar (too often absent in hotels) in the right place, but that’s not enough. What’s new is that there are flip-flops in the bathroom. Wear them and you don’t have to worry about slipping. What an interesting approach to a familiar problem. The flip-flops are uncomfortable, but they work.
The biggest problem with the room is the air-conditioning. You can turn the thermostat up to 27 or 28 (80+) Fahrenheit and the AC stays on. In the end, I just turned it off entirely. Given that it’s autumn, no AC is really needed. But somehow either the staff or something turned the AC back on from time to time. This was just a mild annoyance, but it kept turning itself back on at times. I might have a different view here if it were the height of the summer.
Overall, we were happy enough in this hotel, and we would return here if in Sorrento again.
Localização, conforto , café da manhã, serviço
O único ponto foi o isolamento acústico entre os quartos para nao se escutar barulho alheio. O restante nota 10.
Location is awesome. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast is great and hotel itself is beautiful
Room was a little small.
But that was a small thing and they have bigger rooms if you want to pay more like most places
We stayed here because of location we were pleasantly surprised withthe quality of the rooms, breakfast and staff. As soon as we arrived from the car the staff took care of the luggage taking it to room. Breakfast was in a large banquet room with all kinds of pastries eggs and wonderful espresso and cappuccino. Bathrobe’s and slippers and turndown service with chocolate on the pillows. We were very pleased.
The hotel was clean, well presented, a beautiful building, breakfast was plentiful, the staff were helpful and polite, amenities/products provided were plentiful, I fell in love with this hotel on arrival.
The room service was a little bit expensive but to be expected from a quality hotel.
