Reception staff great but overall experience was sadly disappointing. Better options elsewhere
Pros:

The reception staff were great & very helpful. The gym was also very good with good equipment. The pool also looked quite nice although I didn’t use that.

Cons:

A couple of things to be honest:
- Was in a Classic room initially, paid for an upgrade for 2nd & 3rd nights, as Classic room was like a sauna, with no aircon & dirty / dusty wardrobe area. The lacquer on the furniture was all peeling away & looked as though it had seen better days
- the superior room was much nicer but the aircon was broken & stuck on 16 degrees (Baltic) & despite reporting to the staff earlier in the morning nothing was done about it, nor fedback to me before I went to bed.
- finally was the public berating I received from the Bar Manager in the lobby of the hotel which was very embarrassing & should never ever have happened.
Whilst I spoke to a duty manager about it the following morning, given the gravity of the situation & the circumstances around it, I requested a call or meeting from the General Manager but received no such call.
Overall really really disappointing.

A good hotel with good food and good staff but a little too far out from the town centre
Pros:

Staff were very helpful

Cons:

The bathroom in the room was very small and the toilet was squeezed between the hand basin and the wall

Pros:

It's a big hotel with the gorgeous lobby and quite spacious rooms. Staff is very nice. Breakfast is alright if you're into Irish breakfast. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant on the ground floor and it's handy to have access to it. Free parking is a big plus.

Cons:

The room needed renovation. Every piece of furniture was chipped and distressed. Mattresses, curtains, towels were worn out. Hair dryer didn't work (in fairness, staff brought us another one). Also, we had to ask for shower gel as one tiny bottle was not enough for four people. Shower was above the bath, and the shower screen was wobbly which was not safe for our kids. Extractor fan didn't work. Couldn't use the iron as it's built into the wardrobe from inside so as ironing board. Unfortunately, the room wasn't very clean so as swimming pool
