It was great value and location and I appreciated the building security an staff communication.
Not much that I didn’t like. The limited check-in time frame was a bit concerning to me at first, but the staff were great about communicating what I needed to do if I couldn’t make that timeframe and I was able to check in without a hitch.
Its history.
The room was too small.
Staff was really kind, room was clean, bed was decently comfy.
It’s a wooden house so lots of noise transfer between rooms and people coming in and out. Slamming doors, even heard someone snoring.
The historic vibe.
The room was adequate for 1 person but too small for 2 people.
Great location. Rooms were comfortable. Ensuite bathroom although very small.
Would have preferred a queen bed.
Lovely guest house. Perfectly clean and great location. Near to shops, restaurants and subway. Room had simple self catering facilities. Good free WiFi too.

Cozy room and easy access to train stations and restaurants. Had to check in after reception closed, but staff guided me through the process beforehand so it was easy to find my key and my room.
Heating was active in my room all night. Would have been difficult to sleep if the weather wasn't below freezing during my stay.
comfy
Good location
Double bed could be a Queen. Too small for two people.
Also Monday nights are garbage pick up nights. Noisy
We loved the location, close to bars and restaurants, but not too close that it was too loud to sleep.
The room was VERY hot. We were on an upper floor, so I understand heat rises and the lower levels are likely very comfortable. But it was small- we opened the window and moved on.
Close to downtown. Walkable to almost everything. Very quiet. No street noise or noise from other guests.
Nothing.
The staff Adeta was very pleasant and professional. Location of the guesthouse is central and not far from museums, other attractions.
My so called "Deluxe room" was anything but. It was tiny and located in the attic with the roof creating low headrooms over the bed and in the bathtub/shower. You can hit your head on both even if you are not very tall. On top of that, a spare bed was stored inside the room instead of in a storage room. This made the room even smaller and prevented access to part of the tiny closet. There was a mouse trap in the corner of the room. There was only one folding chair to sit on. There is no lounge in the building so that you can at least go and sit there. The frig was very noisy. There is no sound insulation between rooms or floors so you hear every sound that any other guest makes. There was no vanity in the bathroom. No bottle of water, no shampoo even though the owner calls the soap dispenser in the shower "soap and shampoo". There was no second lock on the room door, a real issue for a single female traveller. It's a block away from a very nasty part of Yonge st. full of garbage and shuttered stores. Overall it was a depressing place to stay.
location and price. Quiet neighbourhood. Staff Adetta (probably mis-spelling it) was very attentive, pleasant, and accommodating.
The lack of any kind of a lounge so that you can have a place to sit. The lack of basics such as shampoo, bottle of water, hangers in closet. Lack of safety latch on the room door doesn't make a single female traveler feel safe, no vanity in bathroom, there is a mouse trap in the corner of the room. A spare bed was stored in the room instead of a storage room.
Really good value for money, decent room size, comfort and facilities too.
No shampoo / conditioner provided, otherwise everything was great.
Location and easy check-in when I asked for an earlier time.
I had to ask for directions on how to use the tv as I couldn't get it to work. I also found that the warm water took forever to come although eventually it got warm in the shower.
Good security. Room was quiet. Window opened.
Room was small and set up awkward. Poor desk lighting. No bedside table. I was concerned about the number of power cords coming off one outlet below the desk.
