Large hotel on the outside of the city. Was comfortable and staff were very helpful.

The room size - it was a suite. The enthusiasm and politeness of the staff.

Cons:

There is need for improvement in almost all departments - front office, F & B, Housekeeping, staff training, overall management. Lack of knowledge about local traditions, timings and logistics to food quality to non- operational blinds in the room to very slow response to requests to mismatch between what is ordered and what us served - the list can go on. It took almost five minutes every time to get hot water and in the process considerable cold water had to be drained.

Too much cost cutting is evidently visible. Poor value for money.
Cons:

This was my 10th visit to this property. From room service to the breakfast buffet felt a big downgrade. Ready to eat kind of items were served at the breakfast buffet whereas earlier the breakfast used to be very lavish and maybe best in banaras. Even the local dishes in the breakfast like banarasi bhaji etc felt poorly made. The room service food was also very lousy and cold when it reached our room . Please check these things if the owner or the GM is reading this.
