Excellent location! Staff very friendly!
Walls are paper thin. We heard every noise the people beside us made. Parking fee says $15 but the desk receptionist said I paid $17.95 per day plus a resort fee. I find that excessive.
Location
Not always clean
Carpets very dirty
Old maintenance issues, always something broken
Room not made up every morning
The staff
I like the fact that you have a private beach and that you can fish 24 hours on the dock
Also affordable for a family vacation or staycation
The location was great. Highly recommend the upgrade to an inlet view. The view was incredible to watch the daily parade of fishing boats come in and out of the inlet and nature. No obstructions of the views. Great private beach to swim in the inlet. Free breakfast was substantial. The staff was incredibly friendly. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.
The property shows some wear. If you are looking for ultra modern hotel, this is not it. But it started out as a naval hospital in the world war with great history behind it. So it’s all part of the charm. The walls are paper thin so if you have loud neighbors, you’ll hear them. Weekdays are peaceful but weekends can get noisy.
Affordable with breakfast little shore and pool me and my kids enjoyed our 2 nights stay
the bed not so comfortable
Staff were super friendly & helpful...They made me feel as if I were a member of the family & a most welcome guest in their home; especially, front desk ladies & housekeeping ladies.
Thank you all for a wonderful staycation❣️❣️
There was nothing I did not like.👍
Staff was very friendly. And helped to fix our problem.
The T.V. didn't work properly.
Excellent experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout our entire stay. Every staff member was wonderful—always friendly, professional, and welcoming with a smile. The small private beach was one of our favorite features, with soft sand and very clear water. The fishing pier is excellent and very well maintained. The rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping staff was always willing to help. We also loved the complimentary popcorn in the lobby and the coffee available throughout the day.
The location is good, but the hotel needs several improvements. The breakfast offers very limited variety for a standard American breakfast, and the breakfast area is far too small, with very few tables available for guests. Overall, the hotel feels outdated and lacks visual appeal. The lobby shares the same space as the breakfast area, which creates a crowded and disorganized atmosphere. The pool is extremely small—more like a hot tub than a swimming pool. In addition, parking can be difficult because there are very few spaces available.
The live bands all around us.
Over crowded.
What surprised me the most was the exceptional cleanliness and the pleasant smell of the room upon arrival. Everything was spotless. The hotel staff was extraordinarily friendly and attentive at all times. The private beach, although small, has soft sand and crystal-clear water, making it perfect for relaxing. The fishing pier is a great feature for those who enjoy fishing. I would also like to recognize the housekeeping team, who were always helpful and willing to assist. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Although the private beach is nice, there were several disappointing aspects. There were not enough lounge chairs for guests and only a few chairs available on the beach. The luggage carts were in poor condition and difficult to maneuver. The elevator jerks abruptly when it starts moving, and it is also used constantly by hotel staff, which creates inconvenient delays for guests. The television was another major issue: it does not allow guests to connect to Netflix, and several cable channels continuously froze and could not be watched. It was even impossible to watch some of the 2026 World Cup matches because of the service issues. Considering the price of the stay, I expected a much better experience.

Hutchinson Island hotel had the friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever stayed. Portia at the front desk was extremely helpful with upgrading my room to a suite after I poorly booked a standard room. The view was fantastic. The amenities kept us busy on site. We've made this hotel our new go-to in Hutchinson Island. Extremely pleased
The bud was uncomfortable
