Disappointed when Hotel left a message on our room phone saying that at 8.30pm we couldn't dine that evening yet it was impossible to find this message. You apparently needed a QR code! couldn't eat in hotel so had to go out. why not leave a paper message for guests?
No comment
At checking in, the reception should have told us that the kitchen will be closed between 8pm till 9pm. We would have been able to arrange dinner before 8pm, instead being told that we shall get something from the nearby KFC, walking 10min in the rain!!!! Not close to be good enough, sorry Mariott’s team.
Good location and easy parking
I found the bedclothes far too “thin” not really cosy and the bed had a topper that was worn out.
Comfortable room
Electric charging for car poor. Only 1 slow old style charger which was occupied so I could not charge overnight and had very difficult time finding another near by
Convenient location, nice ambience, rooms were spacious.
Lack of a bigger bed (i.e. king-sized) in family room.
We only needed a one night travel stop but couldn't find fault. Room was large, clean, bright and had good heating; bed was large and very comfortable, bathroom was large clean and modern, breakfast was good even as a late attendee and staff were all smiling and efficient. Car parking was plentiful and cheap

Once inside I thought it was very clean and tidy and I can’t fault anything
On arrival thought the outside needs tidy up in the parking area and out side walls of property.
Ie litter all needs picking up from the bushes etc.
Hotel was lovely. Staff were incredibly friendly. Rooms are clean and food was fab! And the fact we could bring our dog too!! We had a great stay, and will definitely be back.
On arrival downgraded our room with not mention at checkin when questioned their answer was you booked through booking.com and they had already allocated all the room type we has booked. Ate in the restaurant and waited 20mins to order and another hours for the food to arrive and when it did it was luke warm. at breakfast the same issue with the hot food being at best luke warm
