The stay was great with friendly staff and clean rooms
Pros:

The Portsmouth Marriott is always great every time I have stayed there over the past 4 years. The location is convenient for getting into Portsmouth and the rooms are always immaculate.

Cons:

The only area for improvement would be signage letting you know that the code to access the gym is available at reception.

Hôtel super confortable , un peu trop loin du centre ville.
Pros:

Tout était parfait, chambre immense, deux grands lits, belle salle de bain avec baignoire, et calme comme nous l’avions demandé
Très bon petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de fruits, ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas en Angleterre.
Accueil facile et rapide. Parking en face de la porte d’entrée.

Cons:

La fenêtre donne sur un patio, calme pour nous, mais sans doute pas évident pour les autres chambres qui donnent plus au dessus du restaurant
Et si l’hôtel est vraiment extra, il est très loin du centre ville ( 20mn en voiture) et c’est à prendre en compte si l’on veut juste faire du tourisme

Nice but the cost of a dog staying was too expensive.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean.

Cons:

The fee of £45 for one dog was way too much. I booked through Booking.com, and there was no information about the cost of the pet other than "Charges may apply". When I checked in and was told how much it was, I told the staff member that I thought it was way too expensive, and had the information been made available to me, I would not have booked. I was told that the fee of £45 is transparent on all booking platforms. Unfortunately, after looking again at Booking.com, this was not the case. Given that I was in the room for less than 12 hours, I think the fee was way too costly and much more than I usually pay.

Lovely and clean, reception staff warm and welcoming.

Cons:

Beds too hard, stain on carpet from a bathroom water leak in the hall. Bathroom could do with hooks for towels and other items of clothing
