Excellent location ,lovely breakfast
We recently stayed at Hotel Conca Park, and while there was a lot to love about this property, a specific service issue significantly brought down the overall experience.
The Good:
Location: Absolutely fantastic. It’s tucked just off the main street, making it incredibly convenient to explore Sorrento while still offering a retreat from the noise.
Facilities & Amenities: The bars and lounges are nice places to relax, and there is free access to a nicely equipped gym, which was a great bonus.
Main Staff: The internal team, reception, breakfast manager, and lunch manager were wonderful, welcoming, professional, and very helpful.
Rooms & Breakfast: The rooms, are basic, but in general were kept clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was OK, the coffee was extremely poor, but in general a solid start to the day.
The Disappointing (Why it loses 2 stars):
The pool area was a completely different story. While the hotel itself was great, the younger staff looking after the pool and drinks service were incredibly unhelpful and borderline ignorant. It was a stark and jarring contrast to the good hospitality found throughout the rest of the hotel. Getting service felt like a chore, and the indifferent attitude to be honest made us feel uncomfortable and nervous. Coupled with the daily scramble for pool space really spoiled what should have been a relaxing part of the holiday.
If management can address the attitude and training of the poolside team to match the standards of the main hotel staff, this would easily be a 5-star stay. For now, it’s a 3
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We stayed on the 5th floor in a room with a private balcony overlooking the sea, and waking up each morning to the breathtaking views of the ocean, Mount Vesuvius, and the surrounding mountains was unforgettable.
The room and bathroom were spacious and modern. The breakfast had an impressive variety of fresh options, and the coffee was exceptional.
The staff were kind, helpful, and fast to respond to our needs.
The location couldn't have been better. It was just a short, walk to the center of town, where you'll find countless restaurants, cafés, and shops to explore. The hotel offered outstanding value compared to many of the nearby properties without compromising on comfort, service, or views.
Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a family vacation, I highly recommend this hotel. Between the spectacular scenery, excellent location, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, it's a place we would happily return to.
Great hotel very friendly staff ,the food was lovely and plenty of choice and the location is very good.
Lovely hotel central for all things . Great staff , good food . Enjoyed our stay very much
I took my Granddaughter here for a week after she had completed her GCSEs . The hotel was excellent, the staff kind and efficient and the food good and plentiful .
The pool, the location close to town, the view, the staff

Very clean and spacious rooms. Lovely spaces to sunbathe amongst the lemon trees.
The location is perfect, less than 3 minutes walk from the Main Street of restaurants and bars.
Sunbeds were a little uncomfortable. Sometimes you had to wait quite a while for a lift up or down. There is quite a long walk from the reception to the street, you can request a buggy up, but most of the time we didn’t see anyone at the desk.
It was modern, with plenty of well thought out recreational areas.
There wasn’t anything that I could fault.
After a week in Ischia we arrived at Conca Park.
It really is an immaculately clean hotel with lovely staff and facilities, it’s in a great location too. The art theme is stunning and we loved the zero waste concept. The rooms on the third floor with cliff facing balconies were perfect for our needs.
…but as the week went on we started to look forward to going home. It’s the guests that impact your holiday, unfortunately our week consisted of rude people laying out towels at 7.:30am with no intention of laying on them until late morning. The manner staff were spoken to was awful too. I think this will only get worse in July/August. I think the hotel needs to stop the towel games and (especially in the morning) only allow guests to place towels if they are sitting on them. This problem is British tourists, I did not see this behaviour with other nationalities. It’s embarrassing.
We went on a few days out, Positano, Herculaneum, Ravello and Amalfi. All really easy to arrange yourself buying ferry or train tickets online and a 15 minute slow walk from the hotel. Ravello was our favourite stop and easy to visit with the ferry followed by the Amico shuttle.
Unfortunately we didn’t rate the hotel coffee and recommend Le Sirene a few buildings down for good coffee.
Highly recommend this hotel. Been staying at this hotel for many years. Staff are exceptional, friendly and more than happy to help with any queries or special events. Ideally situated for the main town of Sorrento, 5/10 minute walk away and all island trips and coastal trips are easily accessible. Look forward to visiting again soon 😊
Upon arrival at Conca Park we were blown away by the greeting from the Gentleman that took our cases and the beautiful entrance taking us up to reception. A friendly quick check in and we were directed to our room and then received our cases.
The room was spotless with excellent amenities and cleaned every day to a very high standard.
The hotel restaurant was excellent with a good choice of well executed foods at breakfast and the evening meal. The restaurant managers and staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. I’m a very fussy eater and we normally end up eating out but we didn’t as the food and service was so good.
The pool area was immaculate with lots of nooks to rest if you didn’t want to be next to the pool. The pool staff were excellent and helpful.
The artwork in the hotel was beautiful and the cleanliness throughout was excellent.
Less than a minutes walk to the centre of Sorrento and the beautiful shops, restaurants and bars the location was excellent.
We took the ferry to Positano and highly recommend and also went to a beach club on the Marina Grande side which we preferred as less crowded and more authentic than the other side.
Water fountains throughout the hotel to refill our water bottles which we loved and also helped cut down on excessive use of plastic.
We will return to Sorrento and when we do Conca Park will be our first choice.
Clean, it’s central, has a gym and great breakfast!
It was quite expensive compared with others in the area, I understand there is a premium but it was way above what I’d expect to pay. My friend got married and used the 007 suite to get ready in and the AC didn’t work well which, considering it’s floor to ceiling glass windows, really made getting ready there quite uncomfortable which was a shame for both the bride and bridal party. I only hope she gets compensated for that!
We chose Conca Park for my daughter’s birthday. Our party consisted of 6 of us. We had an amazing, fabulous experience with very attentive and knowledgeable staff. The gardens and pool are beautifully maintained and the rooms are well cleaned and comfortable. Special mentions are for Michele in the restaurant who was gracious and informative and Ylenia who did wonderful treatments for us in the spa. A magical holiday. Thank you Conca Park!
