Es ist ein grosses, renovationsbedürftiges Hotel mit "sozialistischem" Flair... nicht mit westlichen Standards vergleichbar.
Good
Outdated plumbing, unavailable treatments to purchase, no tissues in the room. Excellent food,Most of the therapists were friendly and competent, some not so
I loved the stay, most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Sometimes you run into people that seem busy and not willing to help, unfortunately. I was little surprised with some fees that came up later ,when about to check out, so the trip was more expensive than originally planned. That should be mentioned before hand.
Všetko bolo ok, len pravidelne pre nás nie je stôl na večeru. Už sa smejeme.
Ubytovanie, služby na vysokej úrovni
Beautiful surroundings. The hotel is so updated with some new rooms which are quite nice.
Food is terrible!!!
Krásný vnitřní i venkovní basén, výborné jídlo, příjemná obsluha ,postele i polštáře na urovni.
Room was clean, but this hotel has no service and was giving me the wrong information about everything. Impossible to get help to print a simple boarding card or car rental voucher.
I would strongly recommend to stay away from this Soviet style service that was terrible.
Minibar nicht gefüllt. Alles ziemlich altmodisch und heruntergekommen. Ist den Preis nicht wert!
It was not the first time I have been at the Esplanade I am very happy about most thing except for the food which I found of very poor standard especially for vegetarian
Which I am
Many Thanks

Worst hotel in my life. Carpets were filthy, bad smell in my room, broken floor tiles, having no toilet paper available. I don't recommend to anyone.
I have stayed in the Terms Hotel a couple of trips and overall has been a very nice experience.
A giant hotel, very crowded, good treatments with professional staff. Food could be better both in breakfast and dinner. It's close to city center and located on an island surrounded by beautiful parks
Outdated furniture, very small bed, small elevator, too many people in small spaces.
Hotel is built in old communist style. Large foyers and reception areas very gregarious. Customer service in the hotel was almost non existent. No one smiles and one word responses are the norm to any query. English is not widely understood. As I understand a little Slovak I was able to assist a number of guests trying to find their treatment/spa areas as directions in the hotel are appalling. Don't eat in the hotel, as it is expensive and long wait (45 mins for a toasted sandwich). Rooms have no air conditioning, which is ridiculous for a claimed 4 star hotel. During our visit temps were 38 degrees (100+F) and in the room we had a 20 centimetre (8inch) fan that sounded like a helicopter taking off. When we tried to book massages were informed on requesting 4 different massages they were unavailable due to staff shortage or no cream for that massage in stock at the moment? We did have 2 massages which were acceptable. We have stayed at over 10 other Slovak wellness/spas in last 5 years and we would rate this one the lowest. The walk across the bridge through the lovely gardens to the centre of Piestany is nice. If you are going to eat then do so in the town centre where the quality and service is better and much cheaper than on Spa Island. If you are driving ignore the expedia directions as they take you to the admin office in town and not the hotel itself. Head for Topilcany Road and turn onto Spa island as you cross the bridge.
The hotel is dated with immediate need for repairs. If you open the widows you will need a maintenance person to close it. Rooms are small with old furniture and the hotel has strong Oder. The staff appears to be trying but it seems that the owners are not welling to spend any money on maintenance and upgrades. This hotel is not in anyway remotely close to the 4 stars rating.
This hotel smells very bad.
The food in hotel was not good , in fact the food was out of date and I could not eat it at all
