Very good
Pros:

The staff was exceptionally good. Very helpful . Sharkene at the front desk was very caring and made sure that everything was alright. The room was very clean

Pros:

Thankyou to all the staff at the protea Hotel. This was our first experience in Cpt and they made it extra special for us. A special thanks to the front desk, for the upgrade and tending to our every need. Also thankyou to the breakfast waiters, Anathi an Tyrelle, for guiding us through the ways of Cpt and for ensuring our breakfast every morning was top notch. (@Tyrelle, thankyou for making sure i had the best strongest coffee every morning) would definitly recommend a stay at this fantastic establishment.

Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding met vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, fijn dat er altijd bewaking is buiten. Goed assortiment bij ontbijt. Fijn dat na uitchecken mogelijkheid wordt geboden in een kamer te douchen/om te kleden

Cons:

Ik mis heel wat haken in de badkamer. Ook is een glazen wand van de badkamer wel mooi, maar licht komt wel door de kamer. Onhandig als de ander wilt slapen.
Locatie in rustige straat, soort industrie terrein, dus fijn dat er bewaking is. Zou fijn zijn als flessen water worden aangeboden. En een wc borstel ontbreekt ook.

Mom's 90th Birthday Celebration
Pros:

We celebrated mom's 90th Birthday buffet lunch at Fire and Ice on 24th May 2026. The dining area was private and beautifully decorated. The mains was very good with a large variety as was the fresh salads. The deserts was lovely - a large variety of delicious cupcakes fresh fruit, and the best was the malva pudding served with custard. Thank you for a beautiful memorable day.

Amazing times were had..
Pros:

Everything from the venue, the staff, the presentation and food, especially the food was so so good. The deserts &cakes especially the malva pudding was unbelievable. I would definitely book the venue for future events..
