I booked because it was shown to be remodeled and changed ownership. I look forward to future stays
Pros:

Breakfast was good enough and the dining area was clean and well kept. The room was clean except for the refrigerator which was disappointing. I was disappointed that the pool was not in service and hotel was not updated like the website.

Cons:

It was kind of run down

Charming without basic accommodations.
Pros:

It was decently maintained. Kind of outdated, but charming.

Cons:

They claimed that the King room was overbooked (paid online) and switched me to a double queen suite. However, there were no towels at all.

Keep up the Good Work
Pros:

They were polite, everything was clean. Breakfast was decent, bedding was clean. Gorgeous facility with amazing service.

Cons:

There was no notation anywhere that the pool was under repair when I booked and that was a lot of why I booked the hotel, still worth the stay though!

They offer breakfast and the staff we super helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The room is out dated: drawers were coming off the dresser, Tile and wall in bathroom chipped, box TV and when turning on it caused ears to ring from the extra stati, was only given one towel per person.

Nice online but see it in person... a little disappointed 😞
Pros:

The location from the highway was easy to access as well as proximity to food, shopping ect.

Cons:

I had a $25 hold to my account for 24hrs after completing my check out
There was a water leak coming from the ceiling. I chose to stay in the room but was not compensated for the issue. The room had a wet and damp smell... mold potentially..
I was going to extend my time, I went online and booked using another account for the charge, instead the hotel immediately charged my current account not realizing the extension was under a completely different card and said they were 'legally in the right' to do so. I cancelled. Lastly the pool was closed. There was no information about that until after they officially checked you in. And the pool looks like there had been no work done to it all summer. The amenities was the pool and hot tub. None were available. I stayed for 1 week no one was working on it. Just disappointed overall.

Too big of a hotel for a small crew to operate
Pros:

Lots of parking available

Cons:

The first room (138) I had was dirty and had no a/c
The second room (122) had a/c but smelled like mildew and sent my son allergies into a frenzy
Kitchen had no dishes available

It was a bad experience and nasty.
Cons:

It was and nasty. I was in room 336 with the temp, at 83 and it would not cool, then we was moved to room 334 in which is was better. I was charged the full price for the room, in which it was not a king sized bed . I was put in a room with 2 queen beefs. The floor that we was on was hot and smelled bad. This was the worst room and placed i have stayed at. Need a refund .

Pros:

A delightful place to stay. Others reviewed it as in need of modernization. But for us older folks it was just the way we like it. Most important the beds were good, which is a priority for old folks.
Water pressure in the shower was outstanding.
Loved the restaurant at the end of the hallway. Good food! Lovely service too. The lady in charge of the hotel said they would be starting a complimentary morning breakfast for their guests. That has become very important these days. Our only complaint was the pool. The water was not in good condition and the machinery looked like it had not had attention for a while. Please attend to it because it is a nice indoor pool feature. If we come back to visit our grandson at Ft. Hood we will definitely stay at Shilo Inn.
