Best Western Plus Killeen/Fort Cavazos Hotel & Suites

Overall a pleasant hotel to stay at considering bang for buck. I was not a fan of the hotel doors both front and back being open all day into the night. As far as safety concerns. Anyone could come into the hotel

The room smelled moldy but there were no other rooms available. Breakfast was decent. It’s close to many restaurants. There’s not much to do for night life around here. Pool was clean.

Would definitely stay again ...

Clean rooms

The only problem that I had was that the fire alarm went off at 1:30 in the morning my room was the only room that went downstairs. I asked the clerk what happened and she said it was a false alarm. No apology no explanation

Had to call the hotel to get someone to come out to help me at the front desk so i could check in. The air conditioning system in room #301 was leaking water all over carpet. We told the front desk and they moved our room to #303, the breakfast was good. Bed was comfy. We needed bedding for pull out couch and more towels they only provided 2 towels

Nice place to stay with family although it looks an bit outdated. The area has a lot of restaurants and good if you are traveling with family with small children. The breakfast was delicious and tasty!

WOW - stayed one night 19th - 20th Spent - property is EMACULATE. Rooms are quite large and are spic and span clean. Faux wood tile floors, so no dirty nasty carpet. beds were perfect - had that signature hotel room clean smell and super comfortable / more than enough big pillows. TX is super nice - 70"?? already hooked up to wifi so can use any apps, etc.. plenty of lighting and all the electrical sockets work. Breakfast was very good - standard buffet style with plenty of seating. Kids used the pool and was sparkling clean - they even had some pool noodles and googles cleaned and ready to go for folks if needed. Staff is excellent - very experienced (it seemed) and check / out took a minute or less. Parking is plentiful. Nearby (within maybe 300 feet) are two separate Korean street food restaurants and many more of the usual ones (Texas Roadhouse, chilis' etc. all along the service roads on both sides. Everything is within a mile or less. Super safe and well lit. Best property I have stayed at in a long time - far superior to any of the typical name brands - we travel allot, so this property was a rare find.

Nice and clean

The hotel originally said the reservation wasn't complete because they hadn't received payment. I had paid in advance through Expedia several days before. I had to contact Expedia which contacted the hotel. It took them about 45 mins to fix.

Comfortable, clean, had some issues with the toilet and the bathroom vent didn't work. Otherwise, no other complaint. Enjoyed my stay.

The staff was really nice.
