Wonderful visit. Recommend highly. Would love to visit again.
Pros:

I enjoyed the friendly attentive staff, The great breakfast in the morning. The atmosphere was very engaging. Loved all the antigues present through out the hotel, and the history of the hotel too.

Everything was great.

Worth the stay! Great hotel, friendly and full of history!
Pros:

So charming! I was greeted after a long day by Frank who happily discussed some of the history of fhe building. So friendly and accommodatinf, instantky felt at home. Slept so well!

Cons:

I lkked everything about this place. I only wish I could have stayed longer

We enjoyed our stay and partaking of a piece of Ft Scott history.
Pros:

The historic history. The main floor area was a comfortable place to relax. The host were wonderfully welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

For a longer stay with more luggage the stairs would be a negative. However, the owners always offered to assist us with our luggage! The room was very small but for the one night it was manageable! If we stayed again I would try one of the larger rooms.

Will stay there again.
Pros:

Location was great.Walk a short distance to the Fort, to a beautiful downtown,and to several excellent restaurants. Frank at the hotel was pleasant to visit with. He always greeted us and was very knowledgeable with surrounding history and community. Will stay there again.

Cons:

Wish the bed was more comfortable but there is know bed as comfortable as mine at home.

A delightful step back in time
Pros:

The hotel was tastefully renovated/rebuilt. Continental breakfast was adequate. Friendly owner. Homey atmosphere. Memorable stay. Would be happy to stay there again.
