I drove around looking for a Wyndham hotel, which I knows means quality. Big sign says Super 8. Tiny line unde
rneath says a Wyndham hotel. Didn't look anything like booking. Com picture. Hotel very outdated.No info in rooms with TV operating instructions or a restaurant guide
.was going to take. Shower
never did figure out how to work shower part. No hand railing no straps or safety things in bottom of tub. I use a cane totally unsafe

"Safe in the Arms of the Angels."

Guest since 2020: Get-away at super 8 hotel in Richmond Mo (hometown) and i sleep peacefully,occasionally other guest above would be noisy, stomping, dropping items on the floor, kids running and playing, A few time i could smell tobacco smoke, I don't do these things so I can smell things from a far, Employees (weekend especially ) that been working for years (long time) very professional great customer service, also Mr. Scott is very professional and he also has great customer service skills. There's never any problems at Super 8 Hotel, rooms are always clean there a few things that can be repaired and clean professionally (Thanks Environmental Service Worker! Great Job! complimentary breakfast unable to say anything about that because I sleep through it. Dang miss it all the time...Basically I sleep in the same rooms, for me a few of he beds are not that comfortable, I believed the new management team is remodeling a lot of things.

Pros:

Location was good. Walmart across the street and plenty to eat nearby. A little less than an hour from Kansas City, which along with the value, was my reason for booking. Staff was super nice and accommodating and even got my room ready slightly earlier for me. Breakfast was stocked even though I got there an hour before it was put away. The check-in/check-out process was super quick and easy.

Cons:

I didn't like the quality of the towels, they felt scratchy. Only three pillows on the bed, inconvenient for sharing. Two-in-one shampoo and conditioner.

Carpet not clean - found a pair of socks left on the floor, rubber band and other debris. Not up to date to charge electronics.

Cheap for a reason
Pros:

I could shower.

Cons:

No coffee makers in room.
No hot water in lobby.
Breakfast was terrible.
Someone tried to get into our room while we were sleeping. Left door open.
TV used 2 different remotes.
Only available outlet was in the bathroom sink area.
Our toilet didn't work.

Good experience
Pros:

Outside and lobby were nice and clean. Front desk reception was very helpful. Room was clean but toilet leaked so we turned it off while sleeping. The AC would not get lower than 71ish and kept kicking off and on all night. Bathtub was unattractive. Breakfast was less than average but ok. This was just a late overnight stop so it was ok.
