Old world romance in Venice
Pros:

The Location with private mooring on canals! Private balcony! Amazing perfect for a quick Venice trip

Pros:

We arrived bedraggled and exhausted, dragging luggage and 6 children through the twists and turns of Venice at 11 at night. Upon our arrival, Marco, the incredible man working the night desk, took it upon himself to find a restaurant to feed our children despite our protests that we could throw them some protein bars and wait until morning. He wouldn’t hear of it. He literally ran through the streets, then came back and collected us and escorted us to a restaurant that kept the kitchen open late just for us. The food was PHENOMENAL. If I could give Marco 20 stars I would.

Overall our stay was very pleasant and was very close to everything
Pros:

Location was perfect, we took a water taxi from the airport straight to the hotel Jetty.
Breakfast was on until 10am every morning which was handy after a late night.
The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when asking for recommendations for restaurants away from the usual tourist spots.

Cons:

The shower over the bath is fine if you’re very small not so for a tall person

Great location, kind staff. It served us ok for this trip but would not stay here again.
Pros:

Location was superb. Central to everything. Minutes walk away from main square etc.

Cons:

Very old and in serious need of maintenance & repair. Moldy bathrooms, dirty stained toilet. Very small rooms, tiny breakfast area that seems misrepresented in hotel photos. They make it seem so much larger.
Uncomfortable beds. One single pillow that makes it hard for some of us to get a good night sleep. Hard to take a shower in the small bathroom. Maybe other people got a better room.

The location and staff of this dated hotel were incredible, but the facilities need updating.

The staff was wonderful, attentive, and kind

Cons:

The bed was very old and actually coming apart, as in, the plastic coating on the bed frame was disintegrating and left many marks on our clothes-it was gross.
