Excellent stay at the Village Hotel Swansea. We went to see a show in Swansea and decided to stay the evening at the Village. Reception was welcoming and efficient. Our room was overlooking the docks, so very interesting. The room itself was clean and tidy. Plenty of soaps, etc. Lovely television with lots of channels. There were lots of people about and the buzz was really good.
The breakfast in the morning was busy but there was plenty of buffet food that was kept topped up. All very tasty. The staff were most helpful.
Checkout was quick and overall it was an excellent stay. I would definately recommend a stay, expecialy after a show.

Beautiful room, lovely hotel, we loved the darts and Adam who was behind the bar was amazing! Thank you for such a great stay! We will be booking again very soon!

We booked for a family meal on NYE, there was a great atmosphere in the bar/dining area. Food was delicipis and service was top notch, thank you to the lovely Janine for looking after us. We enjoyed so much we are returning for Sunday lunch as have heard great reviews about it!

I’m a frequent visitor to the Village Hotel Swansea, and it never disappoints. The Pub has a welcoming atmosphere and great service, the Health Club has recently been refurbished & is clean and well-equipped, and the on-site Starbucks is always reliable. Friendly staff and consistent quality keep me coming back. Highly recommended!

Book to have our works Christmas party there 2 course meal and a disco after and I have to say it was fabulous really well organised food was lovely. What an amazing night with definitely book that again and would definitely recommend it for others. Great Christmas night out thank you very much Village hotel 🎄 Swansea staff x

We visited the bar for some lunch today and have always had great food on previous visits. The bar wasn’t busy with only a few tables occupied. The staff were friendly and polite and took our food order. We fancied something light for lunch so ordered a jacket potato each. One with just plain cheese and the other with a chicken tikka filling. The food took some time to arrive and eventually arrived at our table 20 minutes after ordering. The jacket potato’s were piping hot and the tikka filling was more like a few spoonfuls of the chicken tikka main course rather than a jacket filling. It was very watery and cold,but the jacket was boiling hot. We ate our lunch and left at 1pm. After arriving home at 3pm I suddenly began to feel unwell and spent the rest of the afternoon projectile vomiting the remains of the jacket potato and chicken tikka which resulted in me missing an appointment at a cost later that afternoon after feeling very ill. I had only had cereal for breakfast prior to lunch so I am certain it was the food served at lunch.

I’m not the one to write reviews but felt inclined on this occasion and praise the fantastic customer service we received at Starbucks. We will definitely be back!

Located just outside of Central Swansea, a calm and clean space, the the Starbucks I visited in the hotel was staffed with friendly people who made a great hot chocolate.

Great that you can use the gym, pool, steam room etc so had a good swim as there’s lanes blocked off for properly swimming.

Food was nice (had salmon) and breakfast was great.
Location brilliant.
Only lost a star because the music from the gym is sooo loud and I was on the 3rd floor and could hear it very early on the morning.

We came here for 2 nights, one before and after the wedding we also held here. The staff couldn't be better. The room was absolutely incredible. So spacious for me to get ready in and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The wedding went very well and the ceremony was beautiful. We're already thinking of coming back for our anniversary for a weekend. Highly recommend both the rooms and hosting a wedding here.

Soul and Motown Night was fabulous. Tribute Act Dee Los Santos was excellent and DJ was great. 2 course dinner was really tasty and staff were all fab. Great value for money. Would absolutely book again. 💃🤩

Terrible in every way, do not touch it. Booked two nights, but when arrived, lift was broken. My wife has knee problem but hotel only has rooms on second floor or above. Only one lift in hotel and had been broken for three days. Hotel of course did not inform us in advance or by way other guests who were in mobility scooter. Cancelled booking, given three days guest passes to pool as compensation. Tried to use pool second day, incredibly rude woman called Melissa on pool reception demanded to fill vey long form before using pool (was not asked to fill this form on first day using pool), then demanded where we had got gotten guest pass to use pool (from hotel mgmt.) and finally let my wife in pool, refused to let me in. Also was a major fight in front pf hotel second night we were there, saw someone punched in face. Hotel reception and bar staff completely indifferent (i called police). This is just an awful place with horrible and indifferent staff. I will never go near place again but please avoid for your own sanity.

We’ve stayed here a few times. But this time it felt like there was no care. We had a club room, was told I couldn’t check in an hour early. Even though it clearly states in the room that I was able. Apart from the coffee machine, there were no additional extras in the room. Our air con wasn’t working, didn’t have a phone to call reception, wasn’t until the morning I saw the QR code to report issues on the newspaper type thing in room. No additional nice toiletries. Lift was out of order and we were on the 5th floor. Think due to this breakfast or a free drink should have been offered. The bar staff were great. The usual mature blonde lady wasn’t there to check us in, she is usually fantastic. The older guy was quite blunt and unhelpful. Didn’t even tell us about the broken lift! No guidance on the facilities etc. disappointed this time. When we’ve usually enjoyed our stay. Also, even with the mattress topper the mattress needs replacing in 512!

Perfect location for Swansea town centre (super cheap uber ride), great socialising areas, rooms spotless and beds so comfortable, great value, brilliant breakfast buffet at a great price if pre-booked, sound proof rooms, nothing too much trouble and attentive from the minute we arrived. Special mention to Lloyd for helping us with all our requests!

Service was outstanding, all staff were very helpful during my stay. Food was good. Rooms were clean and well presented. Onsite gym was excellent.

Great hotel, with comfy beds. Really enjoyed my trip and would highly recommend to anyone who’s in or around the area. Would stay again
