La Quinta by Wyndham Lubbock North

It was OK. Bed was comfy and clean. Room had paint flakes (?) on the floor in the entry and bathroom. Water was tepid to col, and breakfast seriously lacked Protein.

I am usually a fan of LaQuinta as it seems to be a solid chain at a good value, but I was a little disappointed in our room at this hotel. It had an overall shabby appearance and was definitely in need of a refresh—toilet paper holder was broken and rusted among other things that just gave our room a tired air.

Disappointed in the room. Smelled moldy and moist. The tissue dispenser was broken off without repair and had rust all over it. The outlet paper holder was covered in pure rust. The furniture was completely scratched and beat up. The light switches didn’t work. I had to physically unscrew a light build at night on the wall in order for it to be dark. The door lock wasn’t working probably and would jam to be open. The phone had all the buttons popped out and missing. The hot tub was completely cold. They had no towels at the pool. There was wet towels thrown all over the pool area. I understand that other customers did that but part of hospitality if a hotel is ensuring the areas are kept and maintained. I was scared for my kids to even sit in the bath due to the level of cleanliness. Very disappointing. I wish I would have taken photos for proof.

The staff were very unhappy to have guests present and it showed. Our bedding was dirty and we never saw house keeping. Breakfast was minimal and disappointing. Im pretty sure the gravy we had on day two was leftover from the day before.

Rashmi was amazing. She went above and beyond all the expectations we had to just stay a quite calm night and head out the next day. She made into a great experience and one I will not forget. She deserves the praise her service and dedication to her job affords.

This hotel quality has dropped significantly and I will not stay here again. Poorly staffed, poorly maintained and just not the quality I expect from modest level hotels. This franchise owner is obviously only cutting costs and not maintaining properly. I’ll be finding another facility for my next stay in Lubbock

The lobby and kitchen area was clean, room floors dirty and sticky. did not walk around without shoes in the room you could see the dirt on the bottom of the socks

The rooms were dirty the bathroom doors never closed and the rooms were way to small. No room service even after asking for it no service when checking out and the back door was broken and very dangerous if some intruders come in.
